Last year (Msia) Civic had entered its 8th generation with the latest production of FD. The official launch of 8th gen Civic in Malaysia was done in March and here's some pictures exclusively for Civic Club.

Yeah morning there, lads. This TT is abit of rush I think. Too bad I couldn't make it either. Feel sorry especially to the redhead guy.

Anyway, anyone kena flood last night? My EG ran through a flooded road in Sentul area. Damn scaryyyyyyy. You know our ride all very low (even stock car like mine), I really scare got water come in or went in to the muffler...

Thank God I managed to pass through that area without any major damage... The car still function well, exterior and interior. Just that brake not that tight but I think it's normal under such wet condition. Today start the car, nothing wrong. Really really a huge relief... Amen.

Eh man, I don't know where did you get that model code from, but I just double check Honda Japan website and I'm sure the latest Civic (8th gen) model code is FD. The whole FD series are like this...

DBA-FD1 = 1.8 i-VTEC SOHC
DBA-FD2 = 2.0 i-VTEC DOHC
DDA-FD3 = 1.3 3Stage i-VTEC＋IMA (Civic Hybrid)
ABA-FD2 = 2.0 i-VTEC DOHC 225ps (Civic Type-R)

I pour dirty water to his white EK then ok already. No need to waste fuel. Just stand there see him wash the car like guli.

Whatever EK9 or B22F lah, when it's on the road, it's not the engine that rides, but the driver. Especially on our busy road, you think a powerful car will always win?? Yeah, that is, in Subang Airport.

Moon you change your cluster already or not?? Speed-RPM ratio???

Today have a look on my RPM, 5th gear cruising on highway...

2k = 80km/h
3k = 110km/h
4k = 140km/h

So...

5k = 170km/h
6k = 200km/h
6.8k (redline) = 220km/h?

Can I get a reading from B16A?? Oh, I mean those with speedcut.

What the heck? How you maintain 1k rev with fifth gear?? Your car won't jerk??
I never speed up to 200km/h lah... not yet. My top speed is JDM speedcut, and if not mistaken, it's about 5.3-5.5k rev. The speedometer max speed is 220km/h, so I just calculate like that loh.

Yeah I think your ratio is wrong lah... time for EK9 cluster!

Means not that fuel efficiency?? Or because of the speedcut and close ratio?? My D16A SOHC can do 110km/h with only 3k rev woh...
