but i thought new plan for unifi 100 mbps already come with std 20?

Went to tmpoint today to downgrade to unifi 100mbps. I am currently on 500mbps plan. Was told to pay penalty rm 500 to be able to downgrade since i am under contract. Huhu. Anyone manage to downgrade wthout paying penalty?

My main aim is to extend my house coverage ( trying not to use any wall plugs or extender) coz my current dlink 850L is quite sucky. Router currently in living room at the bottom of tv cabinet shelf

If you want local warranty and support, you can consider the TP-Link Archer C3150.

Comes with the exact same chipset and perform similarly as well.

It just don't come with that much features like ASUSWRT and high end TP-Link routers have pretty decent firmware unlike their cheaper ones.

no restart, when i want download movies the speed very fast. 1gb movies around 8-10minutes. i test my speed used okla speedtest, i got 50-55mbps and upload got 18-22mbps. i check my account from unifi official website, my account still unifi lite 10mbps. no change.

i think they charged for black one since the white one is fixed length..

I wan to have better coverage in my house, would the archer c5400 be a better option other than c3150?don't really need the extra 5ghz band though

In terms of coverage, I wouldn't say it makes a difference. Even if so, it's minimal.

To have good coverage, you need AP around your house besides from router

Yes. their flagship like s9 and note 9 is 4x4 ahaha. but ipXs is now 2x2.

Downgrade sure will get penalty...unless your plan is 100mbps and below

you can search on lelong or lazada for unifi fiber optic cable..
there are various length that you can buy..

4X4 LTE only

I have two packages with Unifi

1) 100mbps lite RM129
2) 500mbps turbo upgrade RM179

Both using the newest routers given by TM (D link DIR-842 & TP Link Archer C1200 respectively).

However for both when using the normal 2.4ghz wifi can only get max 50Mbps (even when I'm standing infront of modem&router) with TM speed test & speedtest.net. In order to get the max speed, have to use the 5ghz only. Normal?
