Yesterday I received SMS and Email stating that I've been TURBO-ed. I restarted my modem but still same 50 MBPS speed, before sleeping I even turned off everything, and the next day still same 50MBPS.

Anyone same?

I repeat again just for clarification.

Received BOTH EMAIL & TEXT MESSAGE saying that my TURBO upgrade is DONE. Restart modem & router after 10 minutes. I did that several times. Still same 50 mbps speed. Before sleeping yesterday, I turned off and next morning tried...still same speed 50mbps.

Went on live chat.

First PIC said that they will reset port for me, off and on modem & router again. Tried, didnt work still 50mbps

Went on second live chat.

Second PIC said nothing wrong with my internet and there's nothing they can do since they're on "PILOT" phase for turbo upgrade. I was damn pissed, because the PIC didn't try to help me at all...simply said nothing wrong.

What kind of PILOT phase when you don't even attempt to resolve issues that are reported by the customers? the turbo upgrade for show only ah? might as well don't implement lol

To confirm you've been turbo or not is check your unifi account on their website, in your case it should say "unifi 500Mbps (Turbo Upgrade 2018)". If not, you're likely just on the same boat as everyone else that have not get their turbo upgrade and wait patiently. Hope this helps.

Already gotten the congrats, turboed email. And my unifi login also reflected the 500mbps upgrade. But my speed is still the same

guys,

does the 100mbps lite RM129 package is inclusive of free Unifi TV?

The website says its included, only the 30mbps No.

But when I went to TM Point, the lady there said that there is no free Unifi TV..only free Unifi Play in which you need to view from devices (phones, tablets etc)

Now when I login to my Unifi page, it still lists the Unifi TV Free there along with my Ruby Pack Plus.

I know that the previous RM129 package (10mbps lite), mmg dont have free Unifi TV. My girlfriend's 10mbps lite in the unifi page also doesnt have the Unifi TV Free listed.

I have two packages with Unifi

1) 100mbps lite RM129
2) 500mbps turbo upgrade RM179

Both using the newest routers given by TM (D link DIR-842 & TP Link Archer C1200 respectively).

However for both when using the normal 2.4ghz wifi can only get max 50Mbps (even when I'm standing infront of modem&router) with TM speed test & speedtest.net. In order to get the max speed, have to use the 5ghz only. Normal?
