Only this side have coolant mark, seems like after change the radiator upper hose last month only start.

Any advice on this? Going to drive highway 2 hours is that ok? City drive temperature remain the same, i found out is due to spare tank watet reduce.

Change the seal? Top casing or whole radiator? What about thermostat need to change? Last change is 2023. Lower hose also not change yet.

Due to not enough time sent for this work, plan to do next month. Hope is ok.

Just makesure water level not lower below min level of spare tank no problem.
My car radiator got 3 leaking points, 1 week after around 300 km the spare tank will lost about 1cm water.
Refill every 2 weeks. Keep 1 bottle coolant in the car if go long trip. In case car overheat due to low water, stop the car let it cool down 15 mins. Do not add water to hot engine block may crack.

Slow leak like this should be ok. Just watch at the temperature gauge closely, and don't rev high rpm.
Something related to my car. Anyone decat here that would like to offer your 2 cents? My FC become very bad after decat. On gutted cat con now.

Thanks for both helpful advice.

At least i no need rushing to replace in this short period of time. Will monitor this few days, then see how bad after highway drive. Will standby water just in case.

Ya, me too. Possible we do it at the same shop? May I know which area of workshop you went?

That's good decision. At first i also doubt want to allow him to seal or not? right after, you will notice no more outside smoke & rubbish smell.

How is your day going?
4 years old dunlop. Thought I was just going for quick patch because found a nail in the tire.

It turns out to be much worse.

Edit: I actually remember 3 weeks ago accidentally run over a pretty sharp tiled curb at the new office building. fuck. that was an expensive mistake.

I just went with whatever they have in stock. So, it's a Kumho. Same price as Dunlop. I don't notice any difference, I'm not sensitive towards tire brand difference.

Just realised I'll have more tyre option if i go for 195/55/R15 . Anyone can offer their feedback on this tyre spec versus the original 195/60/R15?

My Gen2 original size memang 195/55/R15, but why you want to downsized to this? Persona was higher and shock absorber were different right?

Yeah. Original persona is higher and more comfort. But 195/60/15 doesn't have many tyre options to try for. Thinking to try more premium tyre whenever allows.

Actually nowadays 15" very less premium touring or sporty option, you see those Michelin PS4 PS5, Continental MC7, no longer available for 15". Only budget or eco tyre available... Sad

Probably the best all rounder donut in our size spectrum. Exploring others as quite pricey.

Yeah, hence the question of exploring 55 profile tyre. I'll just see what options i have then decide.

Thanks guys.

Overhaul done. My case shows that with as much as humanely possibble care, Campro can last about 600,000km before you need a thorough rebuilt, including changes of all 3 major shafts, new piston rings, new valve shims, new cover, engine sensors, and coolant pipings plus water pump. Edit to add on catalytic converter. A second handed one.

Mine is already 260k. Now using Fully Synthetic 5W40 Mullerol. Change into that a couple of years ago, using FS Idemitsu 5W40 for years but engine vibration getting stronger and stronger. Lose of power a bit even after throttle body wash, etc. A bit fed up.

Since changing to this engine oil, it smoothen the vibration alot. Butter smooth acceleration. Power came back. Never realise just changing an engine oil that is suitable can makes such a big difference. Been using the oil since then. Gave this car a 2nd life extension.

Last time I get good price on Idemitsu (no more) and the mullerol almost double the price. I usually change every 6K (high mileage drive), coz Idemitsu FS seems to be losing properties at 7K, reduced power, etc.

Now due to the double price and the performance of Mullerol, I increase the mileage to 8K and surprisingly for me (after years with Idemitsu), at 8K, it seems to get even smoother and strong. Still I change it out at 8K mileage. I am a sucker for fresh oil to keep engine clean for years.

Have a tracked record of still maintaining engine in tip top conditions for a 20 years, 16 years and 14 years old rides. Spend a lot of car maintenance tho coz I don't drag things out unless pocket empty.

Still going strong. 2015 model
Spend alot this year to repair.

Now thinking wan repair minor leak at my flywheel or not

Initially used Caltex at the beginning, then later tried with Petronas FS. Engine sounds rougher before i switch to Idemitsu then. Stayed with Idemitsu for years after that. It is only about 1 - 2 years ago before Idemitsu start vibrating. Cannot resolve until I found Mullerol FS. Not only vibrating but loss power.

Cleaned throttle body, have already change fuel injection valve (cost me 1.6K), 3 times in the life of persona usage. Don't know why keep getting dirty. Maybe it's the side effect of Idemitsu FS, not sure but Idemitsu worked well for years.

Anyway, now all ok, super smooth, engine loud as usual but buttery smooth in acceleration.

Anyone had misfiring when pushing rpm near to 6k?

On new camshaft sensor and used camshaft. Any insights that can be shared?
