Hey people. Car problem again. This time found that the engine oil totally drained. Underside of the car engine oil splattered everywhere. Visual inspection, seems like the the oil sump is intact, i didn't hit a rock or anything. Could it be leaking from crank shaft?

Don't know how long this happened, only notice it today when the engine sounds like diesel engine.
*
Can only know by you filling it up with engine oil again and observe where the leak was from.
However with such magnitude it should be easy to track. Maybe need to use carburator cleaner to clean up the mess to see where the leak starts.

My car has slow leak from front and rear crankshaft oil seal. But not very fast.

Do keep us updated.

Has anyone here has changed their stock 'spark ignition coil'?

A couple of days ago, my car seems very hard to start (but battery already replaced last month).
So I thought it could be the spark plug already in bad shape so had it replaced with new ones.

But yesterday, my car again couldn't start on first crank.
Luckily able to start it, but during driving, the car seems very slow to accelerate, even heavier than before.
So I think the old spark plug has damaged my ignition coil?

Any idea, else I would have to change it.

If spark plug changed new, hard start should be caused by fuel pressure low. Try change fuel filter and add fuel injector cleaner before filling up fuel. If problem doesn't solves, then should be fuel pump clogged or motor weak ady. If spark plug or ignition coil failed, you'll fill your engine vibrate, engine light on indicate which cylinder misfire.

Fuel filter is very common missed maintenance topic. Of course we might need a new fuel pump, but start with cheap and easy option first.

On top of that, do check for vacuum leak. My random engine dead issue was found to be manifold connecting tube (the one between throttle body and air filter) leak. And since you open to check already might as well check on throttle body and give it a wipe, maybe carb cleaner spray.

Coil pack failure usually can be determined by measuring resistance across two pin of it using multimeter. But your symptom does not seems to point towards coil pack because it would give you irrigular cranking as chances all of four coil pack failing is low.

Another would be old starter. But that can wait until it failed only change.

it turns out the leaks came from the oil pressure switch. lol.

i don't know how long this had been going on. but it explains why the burning smell i kept smelling around my car. the mechanic sounded me why i drove to his shop instead of get the car towed.

Everything else was fine.
Highly suspected was the starter itself.
In the end, had the old starter replaced with a new one.
Now engine cranking was smooth.

Mostly is you got an electrical short somewhere in the system.

If you are well versed with electrical job, you can check it yourself for the short or leak using a multimeter.

If you are common guy like me, time to get a wireman. Until you do it, do remind to disconnect your battery when you not using your car, if your car even off also got light.

if spik coil or the insulation spoiled you car will be in shanking especially during aircond compressor kick in

Thinking to pasang a voltage stabiliser. Charged my phone a lot in my car, coupled with dash cam maybe it'll stress my battery a lot?

Any idea does voltage stabiliser have any differences in this scenario?

Illegal by JPJ. Like tint VLT, enforcement is another issue.

Tried RM120 ish LED bulb from Shopee, doesn't like how the light casted from original reflector lamp, and it's not as long lasting as stated, maybe the heat in engine bay damage the bulb from behind.

And 6500K light in rain is horrible visibility.

Haven't got the money to try PIAA 4000K LED yet so can't comment about it.

Went back to cheap and reliable H4 Halogen, use high beam responsibly for better visibility.

I'm having a problem with my 2015 SV, the center button that controls the rear screen defog and the hazard light is malfunctioning, but the alarm button is fine.
I changed the whole panel, and it worked but after a few days, it came back again.
I try to unplug the connection cable and plug it back, and it works. however, it went again in a few days.
Any clue? The foreman also clueless.

I reckon you need a wireman to do proper check at wiring. Maybe some wire shorted. Just my guessing.

Not really. Just at this age lot of part times up.

I just change cooling coil last week, dismantle whole dashboard, now some noise when vibration or uneven road. Almost 1k gone for this.
