Oh. If it still choking then better send back to proton to check. My point is it could be due to wiring problem or other problem that general mechanics have no tool to diagnose. Hope everything went well.

What is your transmission.
Do you check the RPM meter reading when car choking?

guys, anyone facing water coming in from door issue?
suspect is due to the rubber intact from the car body is wear

actually I already replace the rubber (picture below) but water still coming in confused.gif

Check your weather membrane. Most likely is weather membrane leak already.

it's auto . The rpm is normal when it's choking .

can diy also if u know how to do.
u just need the weather shield gum
butyl gum if not mistaken.

u need to remove the plastic then there will be a plastic sheet that are held together by the gum.
just take the plastic out and replace the old gum with the new one.

Bro! I have the same issue. The car is like a pool of water after a heavy rain. Do keep us updated. I need to know the solution too

what's the radiator cap pressure for 2009 persona guys? is it 1.1 or 0.9? just change my radiator tower and found out the spare tank water gradually decrease I wonder why.. cap is tight tho

I end up using 5w30.

Not sure is placebo effect or it's real.
I feel more power in acceleration as compared to w40

Anyway I noticed there is a sharp drop in oil price and service cost after geely take over.
5w30 full synthetic syntium 3000 SE is only 189 used to be 22x .
Syntium 3000 5w40 in petronas station is 255

And my cost for the service is only 39 as compared to 60 last time.

I did eo and radiator flush this time around

Same like Puspakom offers, but more complete if can.
If anyone has a reliable workshop that carries this service.
Just want to send my Persona for regular inspection, not for buy-sale purpose.
Didn't mind to leave my car 1-2 days for the inspection.
