Planning to book CX-5. There are few things want to ask before make final decision
Between 2.5 NA and 2.5T
beside the power different, any other spec different?
what the mileage per liter for 2.5NA and 2.5T?
any specific tip or thing need to look after for turbo engine? never own any turbo engine car so far
any specific tip or thing need to look after for AWD car?
2. The compulsory tint come with CX-5 acceptable in this kind of weather? Saw in CX-30 group, the wind screen area is very sensitive, if water sip in the dashboard during apply tint then would have problem is it the same for CX-5?
3. Any promotion or free gift given by the SA during booking car for all other car owner?
*
I still driving my 2.2D. Diesel engine blown before, exchanged 1 under warranty.
If give me to choose again, I will just take 2.5NA. I just want less problem. If there is not this engine blown issue, I 100% recommend go for 2.2D.

2. Usually ppl just remove front windscreen and door window tint. If you worried water sip, can go to reputable tint shop. I went for 3M, no regret.

the headsup display only available for 2.5T for now and 2.5NA is 2WD 2.5T is AWD.. and 2L bigger fuel tank than the rest of the model and 100kg more heavy than 2.5NA.. i think that is about it.

1. If you really need the power, 2.5T is your choice but bear in
mind got 2 things need to take into account. First is the fuel consumption, don't get trick by the spec sheet. Do do some research about real world drive then you know how BS the spec sheet. Second is turbo, no matter how you take care it will fail by time, and the repair cost is high also.

2. The skytint is 1 of the rubbish tint they offered. Even new car when the time i bought the heat rejection is a joke. Then i opt for far more better 1 which is Hamel and now my vehicle age already 1 year+ the tint still work superb.

3. Sorry to say mazda don't give any discount on new car. Maybe you meet a good SA it will give you full tank fuel.

most heat is from front windscreen. 34% TSER is very less. sure later panas. meaning after 1 or 2 years.
if already installed then just leave it for time being. replace it when u feel necessary. try 3m crystalline series.

If u are in Kajang and heading KL, RFID stuck more, more queue up vs Smart tag especially Cheras Grand Saga highway. Same goes to SUKE highway. Summary for me, RFID on weekends, Smart Tag on weekdays

isn’t it the same, but just rebranded?

“Skytint is now known as ACTIV-e Film by ICE-μ, an exclusive cobrand for Mazda cars in Malaysia
from official supplier Jasa Sarjana Sdn Bhd. Existing Skytint warranties are unaffected.“

i dont know if the same quality applies.. if yes.. then is another failure.. my skytint starting to have discoloration spot after 4 years of ownership.. when i have those tint to be removed.. i do get the shop to do a test for me for the removed tint.. they have >90% of IRR rejection after 4 years but 60% on UV.. maybe UV is not part of the film but part of the windows i m not sure.

Strongly suggest you take Kia sportage 2.0D or Sorento 2.2D instead. Avoid this Mazda diesel like a plauge tongue.gif
