I'll take over then but give me some time ya...
Ya but Bermaz never says absorb which part of SST tax...the CKD part that's used in assembly or the CKD car itself icon_idea.gif

Jokes aside I think Bermaz will honor the deal la as long as you made the booking before first Sept laugh.gif

yeah, took note on that.

i'm now contemplating should I place an order for M3. But i'm a sucker to the new M3 (though it is still a concept), thanks to nebula87 and browse some on PT and youtube as well.

Note: migrated the conversation from previous thread to this new thread, so discussion can continue here.

Mechanicals

2.5 litre SkyActiv-G DOHC engine
2,488 cc, four-cylinder petrol
192 hp at 6,000 rpm, 257 Nm at 3,250 rpm
Exterior

19-inch alloy wheels with 225/55 profile tyres

Meaning outside (exterior) the 2.5 variant has a bigger rim size. That's the only difference I can spot between then 2.5 and 2.0 GLS.

The information comes from paultan website itself.

Correct. IMO it's not worth going for 2.5.

Why? Here's my 2 cents.

1. You gotta pay more road tax than 2.0.
2. You get less power and FC compared to 2.2 D
3. You don't get full safety tech like 2.2D like lane departure assist (LAS), lane departure warning system (LDWS), driver attention alert (DAA) and adaptive front lighting system (AFS)
4. The price difference between 2.5 and 2.2D is very small, yet you are missing out everything
5. FC for 2.5 is not as good as 2.0 if you are driving in city most of the time due to higher cc but stuck in traffic
6. The only good thing is the maintenance and repairing cost is lower than 2.2D but like chinese saying, if you are already paying for the chicken might as well pay for the kicap

So my 2 cents here is that if you want power go for 2.2D. If you drive in city most of the time and don't mind the power, go for 2.0 GLS.

There's one problem though.
The availability of Euro5 diesel outside of big cities.

If Euro5 is easily available like Ron97, no brainer
