Hello.. its my mum's car.. i'm only drive a mere kancil.. as for CX-5 experience driving for long distance with full luggage at the back and 3 adult (with 2 year old kid and 1 year old baby), its favorable to driver only.. the ride quite bumpy for rear passenger, but for its handling and gbx respond is really good..
i use manual mode went uphill karak, downhill also manual mode, seriously its not like SUV handling anymore.. more like sedan (even better then my wife vios s), the FC when engaging manual mode can be higher too..
Another thing, rear reflector at bumper seem to dislocated.. somehow i manage to fix it my self, just push back from inside to outside direction..
the foglamp not helping much for night and raining time.. maybe need to use yellow bulb?
Now front tyre is left around 40-50%, my mum asked me what choice of tyre she have, she want michelin as last time she always use it and its quite good tyre, so i search its around rm1k for 225/65/17 size.. quite expensive for michelin, but other brand around rm450-600..

gearbox responsive? jumps too much and a little slow when engaging....except if you use Manual Mode. it's an OK drive, but not great.

I havent been driving my CX5 that much. Its a 2.0 model, high spec. But i just noticed the door didnt autolock when I drive. I couldnt find any function in the settings to set this up.
Anyone can help me on this or is it just not available.

Thank you smile.gif

Any problems with this car? Consider to get one as weekend car. Currently comparing this to the New Nissan Xtrail. So far all I heard was good fc , even on par with vios.

Hi guys, I will be getting my new CX-5 2.0 High spec soon (hopefully by end of next week). Been going through a list of things I should do once I get it (its my first new car). Currently, there are 2 things I believe I need to sort out;

1) New tyres - read a couple of threads in here that suggests for new tyres instead of using the original tyres, helps to reduce/eliminate the sound.

2) Enhancing security - any advice of security gadget/equipment/system I should install in my vehicle?.

Appreciate if you guys could assist/advice me further. Thanks.
