if u using handphone-as-sources, my advices go to those easier driven IEM,headphone...

if u willing to give mylar a test at sunway...do tell me...btw, with RM200 budget, u might be able to get ES5 as well..

with 192 mp3 is fine, u can always upgrade ur sources once and only u felt necessary, there is no law said that audiophiles should use which kind of sources...everybody can mix their enjoyment with their budget..

do give mylar3 a test...a lot of them using it with handphones..biggrin.gif

Yup, I heard people say MylarThee is good even without amps. biggrin.gif
Well, AAC should do better than MP3. My ears are quite untrain of yet, so I might lose out noticing alot more details than people like you guys. *bitter laughs*

Sunway eh.. Hmmm.. Slightly far of from my place but I would go there if possible. smile.gif Any way to go there using public transport? Meeting you up eh? smile.gif

Well, not being persistant here, but what about headphones? smile.gif What headphones should be recommended? I was thinking of the HD201, just to train my ears to feel the difference between the SHP2700 and the HD201. Still a hell long way to train my ears. laugh.gif

PS: I'll drop a check on the ES5. Any good? smile.gif Me treble and clarity freak, I think. laugh.gif Not really a bass head but some good old thump will do good.

HI, please recommend me an in-ear phone under RM 100. Thanks
And I heard of Razer pro M100 and creative EP630, which is better? Or any better than this about the range?

Thanks

The HD201, from what I have heard so far, is good in clarity and details. Lacks slightly in bass. The Philips might do better for your friend. wink.gif Hmm.. The SHP8900 cost about RM200+- if I am not mistaken, right?

If your friend is a bass head, DO NOT recommend the HD201! tongue.gif

Added on September 25, 2007, 8:37 amYou have been asking A LOT, which can be good from one point of view.
I am curious. WHAT are you getting at? Are you asking for the sake of asking? You're like just beatingaround the bush.
If you're interested in getting something, give us your budget, your musical preferences and we'll see what we can do.
Asking vague questions like "Any of Audio Technica products are good" is like asking, for example, "Any HONDA Cars are good"? doh.gif

Well i think i have to cancel my KSC75 plan. I'm looking for a in-ear earphone (preferably). Sony EX71 is expensive but i read a lot of negative stuffs about it (fragile cord, tearing treble). How bout Senheisser MX500? (I know its not an in-ear) smile.gif

If you're looking for in-ear then KSC75 is a no-no. I have a SONY EX51. Been using close to 1 year with ABSOLUTELY NO problem whatsoever. I like this EX51 because the bass is 'punchy' used it most of the time I am at the office or in bed. Then again I also have the KSC75 for my 'normal' listening.

I have also read about the negative remarks with regards to EX71. The EX51 is similar to EX71, why don't you give it (EX51) a try? MX500 I have no listening opportunity, can't comment on that. Other in-ear that I have is the Panasonic RP-HNJ50E. They're good but the EX51 is better! biggrin.gif

The only Sennheiser that I use is the HD201, which is ok, only to be beaten by the KSC75! tongue.gif

i have the e2c's and the senn px100...how much are you gonna get the e2c's for? not sure how much is it here coz i got mine in US. Frankly, the mids and highs are pretty decent...noise cancellation wise...pretty good...but not great...you still can hear external noises quite a bit, depends on how u fit it in your ears anyways...bass...not good at all, but thats how i feel ler..even when i tweaked the EQ, still not much difference..In terms or sound quality, I prefer the senn px100 anytime...

p/s: guys, has anyone tried the pxc150? hows it..perhaps if its compared to the px100, would be great...and has anyone used the goldring gx-200? the av shop at sunway pyramid..the guy there claims its better than the senn px200 and shure e2c and also the etymotics...a little doubtful..

thanks

Tried pxc150 in an audio shop. compare with px100 it definitely sound better (notice that the phone resistant up to 300 ohms. Mean without an amp to drive, the sound was unable to produce out better sound quality. The noise cancelling will not in the top ranking cause of the phone size and design, noise slip in easily if you dun wear it properly. price is 3 times of the PX100... >.<" for outdoor user, there's no recommendation for this model due to its bulky noise cancelling equipment, as well as it require higher current (mean additional amp) to drive the sound (another tool you need to carry..) unsure.gif

just my own point of view
