The super.fis have relatively fast pace music, westones are adequately fast. I prefer the westones more, but then it's up to your decision.

Try referring to this website : http://www.smartcomputing.com/editorial/ar...02L10/02L10.asp Opened back and closed back both have their own kind of sound. some prefer opened one as it sounds more airy, and IMO it's more comfortable to wear as your ear still can 'breath' Closed back one normally they seal the sound, and they produce deeper bass. However it might not be that comfortable to wear compared to the opened back one. Anyway if i'm not mistaken, most of the DJ headphones are closed back one, correct me if i'm wrong. Just my noob review about the difference of those 2 type of headphone. Read more from the net and u'll get a better idea |

QUOTE(nicholas_1213 @ Sep 20 2007, 03:26 PM) I'm not sure about that bcos i never listen px200 before. but recabled ksc75 may sounds like Alessandro MS2i when tried out with metal songs (tried with metallica's song, with PcWork) If you dont have MS2i at side to compare, you cant make a conclusion that it sounds like MS2i.You are using the wrong method of judging music. Sorry if i offended / confused anyone You are using the wrong method of judging music. |

Frankly, the mids and highs are pretty decent...noise cancellation wise...pretty good...but not great...you still can hear external noises quite a bit, depends on how u fit it in your ears anyways...bass...not good at all, but thats how i feel ler..even when i tweaked the EQ, still not much difference..In terms or sound quality, I prefer the senn px100 anytime...i'm juz using Sony E016F walkman Added on September 18, 2007, 1:19 amwht would u recommend me? Before going ahead to seek recommendations for my purchase, what do you guys think about me using my cellphone (803T Toshiba) as my portable audio device? I limits bitrates to 192Kbps on MP3, if I am not mistaken I can also encode music to be on AAC+/AAC format as well. (192kbps as well)
The big question is that I am planning to throw about RM200 to make my audio life more enjoyable, but is it advisable for me to do so, seeing most audiophiles here much prefer to use lossless sound quality, or really good audio equipments like Ipods and stuffs. I am rather new in this area, so I hope seniors in this field may guide me as much as possible. (My tests so far on my 803T with my SHP2700, bass had been reduced significantly, though much more thumpier, it sounds slightly ricer, less muddier than what I get on my laptop, have yet to get access to my desktop with a proper soundcard for further comparisions though.) |
