You wanna 'get rid' that 212Pro?
Yes.. PA2V2 will definitely 'worsen' the 212Pro. What headphone are you using now? Wanna 'swap' with my HD201? QUOTE(YiQi @ Sep 11 2007, 03:45 PM) Oh! I bought Senn HD212Pro 2 months ago! I don't like it too bassy, sounds weird huh! Because I love NewAge, which don't need bass very much! I love Piano, Violin sounds, so HD212 is too BASS for me, sounds like I should buy HD201. Anyway, pair with my newly bought Little-Tube LDM+, the High & Mid freq improve, which also tighten the bass, sounds quite good. Luckily didn't get PA2V2, heard that it make your BASS very strong, which might make my HD212Pro worse. |

Aiyo Bro nicholas..
I like that term 'supraaural' type and 'circumaural'.. However my HD201 fits my pinna nicely, therefore it is circumaural rather than a supraaural.. guess I have a 'small' pinna(auricle/auricula) huh? QUOTE(nicholas_1213 @ Sep 16 2007, 10:35 AM) Another proud owner of HD201 This post has been edited by jazzy939: Sep 16 2007, 01:32 PMI think ksc75 is more to portability. But comfort wise (especially for those who don't like the clip-on type), Hd201 is really not bad, and it's freaking light as well. However, if i remember correctly it is supraaural type of headphone right.. instead of circumaural. |

We certainly learn new things everyday!
No bro nicholas.. I was NOT kidding when I said it fits my ear to be a circumaural! Just a slightly 'tight' fit for my pinna there but the oval foam really enclosed the whole pinna.. quite comfortable and no 'hotness' as yet.. been listening since morning, on and off.. burn in at the same time.. just acquired this HD201 only had about 20 minutes on it tops. guess i have a 'smaller than normal' pinna.. all these while I thought otherwise I think your pinna would be 'normal' then QUOTE(nicholas_1213 @ Sep 16 2007, 05:18 PM) Hehe, i learnt new word also - pinna (just found it from wiki Btw bro jazzy939, you are not kidding right? bcos lastime i rmb i tried it, it was just nicely rest on my pinna.. only bigger than the pinna a little bit.. but it's comfortable |

It would help if you could provide a shortlist of your 'favourites'...
QUOTE(speedguy10 @ Sep 16 2007, 11:23 PM) Hope some pro here can recommend me some nice quality of neckband headphone. My budget will be less than RM150. Usage of the headphone will be more on listening music. This post has been edited by jazzy939: Sep 17 2007, 12:17 AM |

If your friend is a bass head, DO NOT recommend the HD201!
QUOTE(rainingzero @ Sep 24 2007, 10:23 PM) i got some prob here. my friend wanna buy a decent headphone for casual music. he much more to bass headed. here i recommend him two diff headphone: SHP8900 and sennheiser 201. what u guys think for both headphone?? Added on September 25, 2007, 8:37 amYou have been asking A LOT, which can be good from one point of view. I am curious. WHAT are you getting at? Are you asking for the sake of asking? You're like just beatingaround the bush. If you're interested in getting something, give us your budget, your musical preferences and we'll see what we can do. Asking vague questions like "Any of Audio Technica products are good" is like asking, for example, "Any HONDA Cars are good"? If you're looking for in-ear then KSC75 is a no-no. I have a SONY EX51. Been using close to 1 year with ABSOLUTELY NO problem whatsoever. I like this EX51 because the bass is 'punchy' used it most of the time I am at the office or in bed. Then again I also have the KSC75 for my 'normal' listening.
I have also read about the negative remarks with regards to EX71. The EX51 is similar to EX71, why don't you give it (EX51) a try? MX500 I have no listening opportunity, can't comment on that. Other in-ear that I have is the Panasonic RP-HNJ50E. They're good but the EX51 is better! The only Sennheiser that I use is the HD201, which is ok, only to be beaten by the KSC75! QUOTE(black^demon @ Sep 25 2007, 03:47 PM) Well i think i have to cancel my KSC75 plan. I'm looking for a in-ear earphone (preferably). Sony EX71 is expensive but i read a lot of negative stuffs about it (fragile cord, tearing treble). How bout Senheisser MX500? (I know its not an in-ear) This post has been edited by jazzy939: Sep 25 2007, 04:11 PM |

You really have to listen to the M50 to justify the price.
I have and yes I would pay that much for that headphone QUOTE(Xonius @ Oct 15 2007, 10:51 PM) |

Honestly to get the most out of a headphone, it should be properly amped.. although some headphone does not require one.
I have 3! (headphone amp) QUOTE(Xonius @ Oct 15 2007, 11:17 PM) |
