QUOTE(cktan15 @ Nov 21 2018, 04:31 PM) Wow Fraser's loop seems deadly! we usually ride round Penang island which is around 80km. Support vehicle is good RM40 is not bad for decent group of riders, and also a backup incase of emergency like in your case. Pg can ride from paya terubong to balik pulau kah? If yes can do “figure 8” ride instead of just the round island ride. |

Can do figure 8, but abit dangerous, too many cars and motorbike squeeze here on these roads and can't even ride at good speed, unless you ride very very early before the bus kilang starts working. |

QUOTE(lilsparda @ Nov 29 2018, 02:25 PM) hi dengeluts. how are u guys doing? Its all depends on the distance that you are planning to do. These are the places where i usually start from:thinking of bringing my bike to KL on dec to try genting sempah or fraser hill, any recommendation on where to park my car and follow which route? strava/plotaroute links much appreciated. thanks Bukit Tunku (google Sid's Bar Bukit Tunku or CIMB Bukit Tunku). Ample of car parks, free and secured. From here, you could cycle east through Setapak and then Jln Gombak Lama which will bring you to Hospital Orang Asli (Gombak) and then Genting Sempah. Continuing east from Genting Sempah will bring you to Janda Baik and Bentong which are common destination for Klang Valley cyclists on weekends. If you are adventurous, you could further continue past Bentong to Tras, Tranum and eventually will arrive at Fraser's Hill and then Kuala Kubu Baru, Batu, Selayang and back to Bukit Tunku. 210KM of goodness with 2100 meters of elevation. The loop is known as Gap loop, Fraser's Loop or Hell's loop. Hospital Orang Asli (Gombak), Sup Power (opposite UIA) are another common place to park if you are doing Genting Sempah or places around it. PCC always park at Genting Sempah RnR if they are doing Fraser's / Hell's / Gap's loop Hope that helps |

Guys, can I have some comments on this bike? It is 8.75kg with a 105 mix groupset. My first RB. Had few MTB, foldies, and a hybrid before. Does the brand have any bad reputation? Thanks.
