hi. i want to buy a bike. price is RM15K. which one is the best way to buy installment? personal loan or AEON ? gross salary 2.8k. i can allocate rm500 a month.

but riding is not a hobby. its my LIFE! 

life is once. when im reaching 40 im not fit for racing anymore. every year max heart rate getting lower. now is the only time to act.

xc really hard to get sponsored. any xc events its always pros and semi pros conquering the podium.

To those who has done Lekas Nite Ride in the past... Is it compulsory to have lighting on my bike? Is the whole stretch of the highway well illuminated? cheers

i have been active in mtb since 2009. i know alot of lbs and built good relationship with them. i know well their mentality and i know well their thinking. some of my friends are sponsored riders and i have hear alot of negative things in the small industry.

btw i agree with you, some road bike specialist shop have this prejudice against mtb riders. they dont understand true xc riders are much stronger than them.

I read the rules but I want to know more about what I will be facing. I probably shud be asking more on how well the highway is lit rather than the lighting... my bad.

It is quite well lit imo, feel free to join TLC and magnum on their weekly rides

Any good cycling jersey recommendation?

How do we define a good bib? There are some like brands like rapha which about RM500-700 together with other brands falls within the same price bracket. There are some cheaper such as Btwin, Motton where the price is around RM200 or less.

What makes the bib quality? What material should I looking for? Thicker pad is better than thiner one?

Pls don't wear sleeveless Jersey...

they went haywire when the rapha words appear here. many with sarcastic comments for some reason which I dont know. They seem too allergic to Rapha. As a new comer in this thread, I dont know that some of  us here have this kind of allegic.

I am not stating the budget because that is not my concern. My concern is a good jersey as the one I have from event is some how not good enough (MEX Ride but Lekas jersey is pretty good). I did my research and most of the brands are very new to me. I dont even know or heard of them before.  Based on the inputs I gather from reading articles, forums, I will have to try them which fit me best. That's the reason I am asking here. I dont even know Rapha is premium brand but I dont mind paying abit of premium tho for something I feel worth it.

Yes all R8000 except the lapierre come with 105 cassette. Others are R8000. They are similar in all aspects and component. I read review, many reviewers highly rated CAAD12 and Allez Sprint. The best aluminium bike, etc.
