dx9 based cards should have SM2.0
I wonder how they can scale the 3d engine to support SM2.0,3.0 and 4.0 at the same time?

should be ok coz its dx9 card. But i think it will be very lag to play even on 800*600
ya no prob... of course not the ultra high settings
Nvidia never had a PS 2.0 card ever. Geforce FX cards were crap of a graphic cards and was thought to be a PS 2.0 card but it had only PS 1.1 capability. You can find out when you're playing Source Engine powered game. I know I used to use one.
ATI is the only major gc maker that have PS 2.0 cards from Radeon 9500 right up to X850.
Later Nvidia got their act together and started making better DX 9 cards with the 6000 series which had SM 3.0.
