Yeah, I use 2GB for my window Vista Ultimate, overall speed seems ok but if running programs such as Adobe CS3 will be a lil' slow as the Vista itself have use around 1GB of Ram. If 2Gb with Window XP will be smoother than Vista since it's more stable and consume less Ram but of course 4 GB will be the better.
