my feelings is like this;

as long as u buy some (don't care how many or how used) official games with ur own hard-earned money, then u r ok ler. maybe achievement unlocked +100 points.

for those little kids saving up their allowances or part-timing or studying hard for good results so that their parents help them with official games, i really respect also. +200 points.

if u decide to make sacrifices and efforts to go 100% official/ori (buy/trade/rent) on the 360 to show MS Msia that launch here is feasible, then really my hats to u. +500 points.

actually rgd this forumer Xrated, i really dunno much abt him/her or his/her post history. i dont feel his sig is in anyway boasting or mocking ori supporters. and last time when his site was still working, i think i saw dozens of official/ori games on his setup picts.

the bottom line is software piracy is wrong. There are NO excuses for software piracy - especially the "can't afford" and "can try before you buy" excuses. If you can't afford, you don't buy. After all, gaming is A luxury, not a necessity.

if you can't afford ori games, you better prioritize your money on other essentials like food or books. Don't waste your precious money on stupid video games.

Don't get me wrong. I dont care if you play pirate or ori because that is your choice and right. I will not judge you. I do not despise you. In fact, I treat you just like anyone else. Ask around the gow players, do i discriminate against pirate users? i'm friends with anyone online.

But if you try to JUSTIFY piracy here or anywhere else, i will not keep my mouth shut. Until you dudes experience your own blood, sweat and tears being stolen, copied and resold without you seeing a cent of it, you wont understand what software piracy really is.

buy original games is like buying high quality drug.... you got style one and get most enjoyment out of using

buying pirated games is like buying pirated drugs... LOUSY quality one... what for use? don even get the same satisfaction from consumption somemore whats the point.

I remember I heard in the Halo 2 forums months ago that someone was banned and he said that he hadn't been modding and it was his friends who were modding. Another user replied that you are not allowed to play with modders...

I don't know if this is only for Bungie but if it's true for Halo 2 no doubt it will happen again to someone in Halo 3.

No way that's gonna happen. How are we supposed to know if the other party modded his/her console or not.

I think he said it very well. Gaming is not a necessity. So are movies, music, or entertainment in general. The rule of thumb is that if you can't afford it, doesn't mean you can steal it.

I am no saint of course. But I do understand where the anti-piracy statement is coming from.
