Buy a new unmodded unit, swap the hard drive and bring the old one to cash converters b4 they realise that it cannot go on live.

Was talking to my manager over this during lunch, she says it is possible that we won't be able to 'pasar malam' our old games anymore because we are buying the rights to the game, and not the DVD itself. So Microsoft can technically limit the disc to a single machine - provided that what applies to computer software holds true here as well.

Anyways, I personally think that Crackdown launching with 900 achievements, with the balance available over XBox Live is some sorta experiment, perhaps we will be seeing more and more games released bare bones and needing to be fleshed out via downloads. Provided that Microsoft reduces the price of such titles and d/l, this might be a better way than ban-hammer.

Not really. Some ppl learn to live with only the things that they can afford.
