QUOTE(pcdoctor_my @ Mar 31 2023, 08:27 AM) So this is your con-lan-firm evidence that it is fake, without any UOA and just base on QR stickers hidden? LMFAO! Like I said.. It's your money your choice. I'm not stopping anyone to continue buying from that seller. There is no advice given wether to stop or continue buying from that seller either. No photo/video, no evidence. Anyone can easily fabricate a childhood story and made others believe. But still there will be always idiots whom will believe words than photos. Typical keyboard warriors. Both of you. Show some UOA evidence for both the fake and the original oil, and then only your story is credible. I don't have to proof to you anyway as I'm not first day buying/ using the same Mobil1 engine oil. So I know how to differentiate which is original or counterfeit. Even the engine oil smell is freaking different from original. Again like I said, it is solely my own experience with this seller. Your money you make your own judgement. I'm here to share my 2cents of experience only. Quazacolt liked this post

QUOTE(e-lite @ Mar 31 2023, 09:32 AM) Tak payah troll lah, people give evidence, you spin another story. Might as well say your name is Najib Rightttt.. 1st of all the labelling from the bottle was already wrong. I bought 5w50 but back sticker showing 15w40. Funny as hell. Next I found out a lot of spelling mistakes! 3.6-3.7L filled only! Smell of the oil stink as hell. QR code not functioning either. I've been using the same brands for years. If you want to do uoa, you do yourself and post the results here cheehong91 the 3.7L is even credible results. no original product will be underfilled. Which original company will make such mistakes π nuff said, I trust my own instinct and I went all the way there. The seller did not deny nor admit the authenticity of the engine oil when I raised. Refunded on the spot! |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Mar 31 2023, 05:35 PM) Sadly it is still rampantly happening in Malaysia. I saw there are a lot more brands in that particular warehouse. All with dodgy packaging and there's a lot more equipments like tube and so. All in a house ππ which company allow such branded EO to be distributed in such condition I pun tak tau. QUOTE(kkk8787 @ Mar 31 2023, 10:36 PM) Why that fella is so worked up over it. For now I just stick to one distributor only. No stock then I rather wait for a while until he restock. Otherwise just get from hypermarket. 100% safe and original. Been buying from tesco and giant those days when a fully synthetic shell or total EO was selling at 79-89 per bottle. Sapu the whole trolly usually. HeheMy family was in this industry and yes it is rampant. I donβt know about this seller specifically but fake engine oils are rampant I need to service once in every 1.5months. No harm keeping stock when there's mega promo! |

No harm keeping stock when there's mega promo! Giant ones are parallel imports with lower API but no problem using for most cars . For my new c class and bmw Iβm a bit more cautious though |

This website has a good guide in identification of older Mobil 1 https://cfrs.ru/en/traffic-online/mobil-sup...lnoe-maslo.html New Mobil 1 are much harder to fake nowadays. A lot of identification qualities built into it. Kudos to Mobil 1 for going the extra mile This post has been edited by e-lite: Apr 1 2023, 01:38 AM Quazacolt liked this post

QUOTE(cheehoong91 @ Mar 30 2023, 09:33 AM) I 200% confirmed what he selling is fake! I've bought before and found out fake. The bottle labelling itself already got many error. Qr code cannot be used. Oil is less than 4L..probably 3.7L only. i can 99% agree that king auto is selling fake oil. my dad bought 1x honda semi sync and 1x perodua semi sync, and when i saw it, i asked how much and the prices definitely didnt make sense. i had a few original perodua oil (from SC) , straight away, the bottle outlook and quality of the sticker was a give away. Just look at the tell tale signs and you will knowI went straight to their warehouse and what surprised me was a bunch of spm student actually the one selling it! How I know is because one of the staff told me their boss is in the school now! Hence not able to answer my call. They made me no choice but went to their place straight! e-lite liked this post

Hence you able to differentiate. All these evidences indicate the product is fake. There's no need to do uoa test like one of the forumer pointed out π€£ Quazacolt liked this post
