I saw a news last time that someone spread the news on social media said about Txsco Shell lubricant sell so cheap is fake oil. Txsco response to the allege that they are centralize bulk purchase in order to get extremely low price. Excessive stock will ship out to overseas subsidiaries and they guarantee all lubricants sold in Txsco is genuine. If they were fake oil while Shell Malaysia still allow Txsco (now is Lotxs) to get their brand engine oil? What Shell Malaysia do is repackage their own distributing engine oil by labeling "untuk pasaran Malaysia".

If you want genuine oil, try Aisin. They make OEM products and also have EO. I have used them and feel the quality is there.

They have official store in Shopee. They also have discounts from time to time. For eg, original 5w30 cost 160 but during promo, it's maybe 100. Confirm ori and good brand.

Hi guys, i plan to buy some toyota oils and filter from shopee, anyone experienced with this shopee seller, are they really selling original parts and trustable?

Just to clarify, Century doesn't produce (make) engine oil officially. They outsource to someone to make EO for them.
I'm sorry but I wouldn't buy from them because

1) They are a battery company. And only Century Malaysia does that.
2) I search for the authenticity of the API SN , according to API Lubricant search engine, its not to be found. So the API SN they labelled on , is fake. I would be cautious about that.
3) If I see words like - "USA Technology" that is also red flag.

I see prices in Lazada and Shopee, they are selling around RM 80-90 , workshops may sell even higher. For that price, I rather go for Mizu or BOSCH, at least the API rating is genuinely certified .

Oh I see. I guess there are sub standard lubricants sold in such platforms. I'm only interested in the variety & price of the items. But I can still get genuine oils from my local regular spare parts shop of mechanic.

Just to share,
I just bought Mobil 1 Advance Fully Synthetic 5w20 for my Axia from Shopee seller named King Auto .
He parralel import it from USA.
Its also a bargain since its 5L and my engine only needs 3L. And its Mobil 1, kinda overkill for a Toyota engine but nevermind
The seal is there and the bottle cap was very tight to open initially.

About your concern if 0w20 is suitable for Honda city, I have previously used 0w20 in my Exora. Turbocharged some more. No loss of oil. Engine still remains the same roughness as 5w30. FC probably about the same.
Then the next oil change I put back 5w30, same roughness (only when turbo boost). Now even with Liqui Moly MOS2.
So therefore thickness of oil does not mean it will protect better or make the sound softer. Your car and my car is not highly tuned engines. Thicker viscosity is to withstand higher temperature.
