I heard that you can't use the router built-in dialer, else will get disconnected frequently, must use the software dialer in the computer, is it true?

any 4mb users received their bill yet?  looks like they billed me for 2 months in advanced only, no activation fees or installation fees charged plus rebate for my last month RM88 subscription balance ( starting from the day my 4mb was activateD) so total bill came to RM373.29  rclxms.gif  , their total amout usage is wrong though stated only 50gb, wherelese my bandwidth monitor program  showing usage of over 200gb over sweat.gif

Wah, 200GB in one month. What have you done? I'm still using 512kb package and my bt dl is slow, anyway to boost it up to 60kB consistently?

ive been getting good connections nowadays, after i changed my modem thumbup.gif

now surfing the web is way faster than before, and direct download from websites can easily get more than 200kbps, sometimes 400+ kbps, depending on what site

The line is still da same, only speed is affected a bit i think wink.gif

The download speed does not completly depends on your internet connection. A site's bandwidth plays a big roles too.

Any different between ADSL and ADSL2? I used to get about 3.2MB under ADSL modulation before streamyx started to cap the speed, so I wonder the speed will increase or not under ADSL2 modulation.

the top of FUN about TMnet

I called the 1-300 today to report my continuos disconnection problems for my Mbps. they told me to call a 03 number for "PREMIERE TEAM" dedicated to support 4Mbps users....wow ! ...you pay more you get a better service ???

I called the 03 number and the automatic voice asked me a PIN number...which I don't have.
so after a few minutes I got redirected to 1-300 operator. After a few checks (another 10 min), he told me he cannot help and that I will receive at home via mail the secret PIN number....when ????

So the story is:

- 1-300 will not assist you because you're a "special customer"
- you can enter the special Premier Team Customer Care.....
....through a PIN code that TMnet will never send you !
= NO ONE WILL SUPPORT 4 MBPS CUSTOMERS

..how smart they are !

I AM EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED WITH STREAMYX'S CRAPPY SERVICE. I upgraded to 4 MB at the end of May due to the promotion but ever since installation, there has been frequent disconnection every 5 minutes making it impossible to use the internet. The installer Encik Azizul has come twice and said "there is nothing I can do". Streamyx helpline states "someone will call you tomorrow" but they never do. Now the next tactic is to ask you to call a Premier Hotline but once you do it asks you for a 6 digit pin. When you call back and ask the Streamyx helpline at 1300889515 they tell you they can't give you the 6 digit pin and that it's in the post!!!

Meanwhile, they have downgraded my speed to 1 MB but it still disconnects every 10 minutes.

Therefore, i can only conclude that the 4 MB package was launched before it is ready. Be very careful when upgrading to this package. Until today - the problem has not been rectified - more than a month later! I live in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur and according to the call center personnel, many subscribers in Bangsar who upgraded to 4 MB are affected by this problem.

Better switch plan or terminate lar. There's no more reason why we should continue to use their crappy services. Maxis broadband have better service than TMNUT.

At least they will help if I yelled. No the robot hearing TMNUT.
