Bank/card limit, my CIMB card never have limit issue
I have been try 1 trans RM600+, 1 day 5 trans no limit issue

people often keep getting confuse what is 250 limit.

250 is not a samsung pay limit but its the paywave limit.


In such scenario as yours here a few possibilities

Accumulative amount limit or transaction limit.
Your credit limit? insufficient funds in your bank acc for debit?
What is the fail error? if you do not know how would we know why it fail?
Some older machine wont trigger pin exceed 250.
some cards requires physical card to reset and some just require pin to reset your paywave limit

Yes you should call your bank to findout the limit but PBB has the worse limit. Maybank is the best i done over 50 transaction on the same day and also make payment amount 500 - 1000+ using samsung pay successfully without issue

Just called PBB and was told that PBB card can only Paywave/Samsung Pay max 9 times. The 10th time has to be Pin transaction. Then the next 9 times can be used for Paywave/Samsung Pay.

Bloody stupid limit by the bank. So every time you see Do Not Honor, then just use pin for cc transaction to reset the count

that dont happen on maybank cards haha. what is the max limit? or the limit is just 9 times then physical card

Yah seems to have issue with PBB card only

Yes, every 9 times you have to reset with pin. I have been using PBB card on Samsung Pay since the time when PBB cards are accepted on Samsung Pay. I usually reset it at the petrol kiosk, most of the times before it reaches the limit, so that I can continue using Samsung Pay without having to use my physical card with pin.

So far the highest amount I have used on Samsung Pay with PBB card is around RM1200.

this public bank 9 times limit is super bloody stupid
some mcd that i went, even familiar with this pbb card issues, immediately ask me to insert card and enter pin when this happen
