hey shawty, why dont u try overclocking the shader? Since the latest batch has dual bios, can use nibitor to edit the bios.

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Aug 11 2007, 11:24 PM) Colorful 8600GT OC doesn't use any extra power plug, so u can use those normal PSU to power it up. Just read yer post own posts/replies again, for pete's sake.Unlike 8600GT UE, it needs an extra 6Pin PCI-e molex. So basically, any chapalang psu should be enough to power up the 8600GT OC. @TomatomanzSeedlezz I have answered all your question, but you're the one who keep repeating the same question again and again, i advise you to read properly all my post, if you can't understand it, learn english back, i have no intention to argue with you, but for you to repeat the same question again & again, it's just pure annoying. Look at slash's post, he's not using any extra fan "on top" of his 8600GT UE, but he still manage to get 51degrees the maximum. I have no intention to argue with you, whatever you post after this will just show how childish of you for repeating the same question and again but not trying to understand my post properly. This is where i will stop talking to you, if i see any of your post again trying to start back the argument, i will report your post immidieately. Nuff said. Whos the one who keeps saying "childish" words and keep repeating same yer own sentences (juz look at the amount of sentences u replied repeatly), and it is juz plain rude for the replies towards me from yer first reply till now. I bet you wont said all that if a customer say that right infront of u, as i said multiple times, im asking u all that coz yer are the seller of that product. Take note of the keyword there "seller". And u are the one who its annoying with yer replies which much offensive words. You shld learn be more polite and be more understandable next time. Report me?.. ur gotta be kidding. I shld the one who report u due the offensive words towards me. Anyways, this "so-called" conversation shld stop, for the sake of the rest ppl here. Cheers Added on August 19, 2007, 6:11 pmBtw, after seeing u peeps keep mentioning PSU. Imo, make aware don't ever use chapalang/non-branded PSU, unless u want it to wreak yer pc (unstable rails/voltages). Secondly, imo don't take high-watts as reference when choosing PSU, choose those psu that has high-rails its the better reference if getting new PSU as some peeps here already mentioned. For example there are some 450w psu has much better rails than a 550w psu. Heck even the new Corsair VX450w are more stable than most 500w - 620w psu out there http://www.hothardware.com/articles/Corsai..._Supply/?page=5 Cheers This post has been edited by TomatomanzSeedlezz: Aug 19 2007, 06:18 PM |

got a colourful 8600GT UP. managed to oc til 680/2000. not sure if stable or not. havent benched yet, dunhave 3dmark06. and no internet connection at home. would prefer not to have to sleep over at the cc just to dl 3dmark06. lol. and having problems with new rig. either graphics or ram. or vista. blue screen of death when gaming sometimes. in the process of troubleshooting. but the 8600GT cant handle 1440X900 in oblivion and it gets jerky in Test Drive Unlimited. gave up playing after losing due to screen freeze. btw my gc has a very hot pcb. gpu temp 63 idle, around 70+ load, but the pcb is very very very hot. hurm.
btw the enermax fma II 460W is pretty good. 22A and 20A on the 12V rails. very fat 12V rails for a 460W. satisfied customer? maybe, just bought the rig last week. |

QUOTE(ff8ong @ Aug 20 2007, 09:50 AM) i need someone help,my new GC 8500 silent.just install it but yesterday i let go the pc run from midnight until morning(BT)..n my screen show out(no signal detect)but cpu is still running.. I always had this problem since having a DX10 card (aka 8800GTS) and combo it with an LCD using DVI adapter. What happen is, IF i were to turn my PC on for a long time, it will tell me that my LCD will be entering energy saving mode and can never be turned back on. I personally am not sure about what might be the problem. All you can do is to turn your PC off and restart it. Only that way is going to return your PC to normal.. My way of solving this problem : Down to none as i am not sure about the source. However, this is what i did and do help me in countering the problem there. - First of all, go to your Power Management screen in your Control Panel. - Go to the part that shows : Turn off Monitor in XXX minutes. - Select NEVER for the option. From there, i did solve the problem about the Entering Energy Saving mode and no signal detected. Besides that, you may want to go to the screen saver screen and uncheck the "use password on resume from screen saver" thingy. Not sure it will be able to help you or not but it did solve my problem a lil bit.. |
