CRT is bulky, but to be frank, CRT's color is better than LCD's.

Added onto the list. Thanks for the guide. smile.gif
As for stressing software, ATITool is good enough. But also added that one on the list as well for more choices.

@ben3003
can post ur 3dmark05 scores? 06 is cpu dependant so cant really judge the GC alone.

05 is not that CPU dependant. would like to know as i have an 8600 coming to me as well.

VF700 ACu works but still I have no money to buy it to overclock. Already spent too much on sound card and headphones.

Your idle temp almost same with mine. I just installed a 120mm intake fan, the temp drop by 1'C but my chipset temparature increase by 2 - 3'C vmad.gif !!!
i think the problem is the gc itself, the air is blowing in opposite direction of the intake fan...perhaps the newly installed fan created turbulent in my casing when the air crash with the gc air...need cry.gif to do some analysis to solve this problem. Modifying the casing should be the only way to solve this matter...sad.......

LCD stills a LCD.. Not as powerful as CRT..
I've tried on a 19" CRT Flat(Samsung Synmaster) and a 19" LCD(Samsung 931c) to play Lost Planet..
I turn the graphic/resolution details to all MAX, and found that when you facing some in-game scene that has mass shaking+blur effect.. CRT Flat no color problem, but i found that LCD will may have a bit color changed, which mean u'll saw some purple color in your shaking in-game scene..
*
Problem is............. CRTs are very small n who on earth is gonna want a 30" behemoth CRT on the worktable even if it did exist. laugh.gif The table oso will picah lar if got 30" CRT. Also just imagine the amount of electricity it wud consume. Not very friendly to the planet eh.
shakehead.gif I just finished Lost Planet n I didnt see any such purple color shaking shaking thingamajigs. laugh.gif Mebe it was ur drivers?
