Yes. A tv is not necessary, and only useful for HyppTV.

Yes hope Fox channels are not temporary. With Jumbo pack, there is not much need to download drama series or movies, I dont even watch Singapore Channels nowadays. And there is no need to subs Astro.

HyppTV got so good or not. I stopped downloading since years ago but its contents still not up to my taste.

My family already overwhelm with so many UnifiTV channels that if possible and allowed I might cancel the Ruby pack to reduce my plan by rm30.

Yes, I intend to cancel Ruby too if it is allowed but after a year. Well, though chances are low but will fight for it since I will still have Jumbo package after all.

ANDROID TV box will be my next purchase.

jumbo, now with fox channels, is a good all round offer - and simple to use.

ruby has all old stuff, not exciting.

to get other stuff, new, latest... vod, livetv, eng, chinese, thai, usa, uk, sg, live sports... get a good box.

u then have endless entertainment 24/7 - for all in the family.

Yes that is my intention n once workable would convert my siblings astro to this setup.

After bought Android TV Box I had uninstall unifi TV everywhere app.
Felt that unifi TV is rubbish

Just to check any of the hypptv channels are in 5.1 surround or 1080p? My current box shows 720p with no surround.

No. Audio is all stereo 2.0.

last wednesday i got a call from TM offering me upgrade to 100mbps for RM199 (the package includes 600mins free call per month to land lines AND mobile). the marketeer said that the modem need to be changed for this package and a technician will call to arrange the time and date.

but up until today no one called me. no sms about this package. no email as well.

is this legit?

Chances are low as you cannot make any changes to the package to be entitled for the RM200 discount.
