Yeah , it is for my china wallet. Until today still dont have the region option yet. Waiting it to be rolled out with angpao hopefully.

i wonder if those are for the mainland Chinese tourists. because Malaysian version is still in the process of updating.

Yes for mainland Chinese users like AliPay.

Wonder how long is the process? At least make an official announcement or press conference first, they should know that once the hype is gone, it's gone.

Launching it early that lacks tons of features and not able to use it is no different than the local crappy e wallets, really.

Hi. Need help here.

I'm unable to bind my card with my wechat wallet due to RMB. I tried to change my region to Malaysia but still in RMB.

It's not available to majority MY users, even users which managed to change wallet region earlier can no longer perform any transaction at the moment. It has been disabled.

According to WeChat Pay MY CS team, it will be ready within two weeks time but no confirmed date is given.

I also sent feedback to their CS team 2 days ago. They also replied me saying the wallet will be make available within 2 weeks. but fruitie sent her feedback 1 week earlier than me, she also got the same feedback. dunno when is the last day of the '2 weeks'.

Oh no, this certainly doesn't sound good now. The "two weeks" seems endless.
Today Jack Ma is in the town to officiate the Alibaba office in Malaysia, hopefully there is a plan for our AliPay (without tagging with TnG) and will give WeChat some pressure.

me too, last time they said on monday massive release. until now still dont have. but seeing its still doesnt work even if you my wallet i guess im okay with it.
