btw, u can just ignore what i post and keep lovin ur N95.
i m posting it for the potential buyers, remindin them not to be a guinea pig for nokia .. sweat.gif not for you since u already got it.

actually i'm the one who started the flame...hehehe... it's me to be blamed...hehehe...sorry...

Anyway, Mr Blade got his point. It's good to point out the drawbacks of N95 so that when new firmware/batch is out, we can compare with the first version.

I'm waiting for 2nd version firmware before i make my mind to own this piece of phone-puter.

Dont worry, the battle is over. No point fighting with a kid who doesn't understand a word.

Anyway,
I dont think N95 GPS can support 3rd party application yet.
Tom Tom and route66 are few good GPS applications. You can try, but I dont think it'll work.

Thanx. I went to the shop and they tried loggin in for me but sadly I cannot view what I wanted. The main login page is fine but I cannot view the one after logging in.

Sigh...having mixed feelings about getting it. smile.gif

You can try 3rd party application like Opera. Some pages Opera can open well, while the built in browser doesn't and vice versa.

But if you need a file manager to download goodies, then it has to be Opera.

The guy at the shop said that I would most unlikely able to view it. reason being that I require a 3rd party engine for it (eg:Java Runtime Environment).

Any advice on this?

Garmin Mobile XT will only work with Garmin GPS receiver. Like the GPS 10 or GPS 10x.
Hope Garmin or somebody will patch it so that it can be use with the integrated N95 GPS.

The result is a success. I'm using the built in browser to view it. BTW, it's only javascript on the page which N95 is more than capable to handle.
You might need a fast connection like 3G/HSDPA or Wifi to view it coz it loads very slow.

*Edit : Cant view page in Java Environment.

TomTom and Route66 are good mapping softwares, but too bad they don't have maps for Malaysia.
