ya they are .. but most of them are asking questions prior to the release of N95 . In other words many post reposted , u got it ? The intention of this thread is just to keep a clean without many multiplied posts.

mediocre battery life and poor build quality?? maybe insensitive gps?

the sliding make me feel so dissappointed now.. like wanna come off oredi.. maybe i nbtd juz slide up and down makes it like tat.. poor battery life also.. maybe coz of large LCD screen..

Dude, have u tested it ? Or just from others review only ?? For me your statement far from the truth    Yes some is true and not..The slider didnt make shit on me. Build quality is fair as others phone.

i just went to sg wang to playt with the n95s at the shops... seems like the one i played has very solid body.. very solid slide... no shake no gap.

why is mine shaky?

I've mentioned on other threads that my N95's slider is noticeably loose on one side. Well, after one day, I came to the conclusion that it's not something I'm going to be able to live with for the next 18 months, so I phoned up Orange earlier today to find out about the possibility of replacement. On the phone I was told that I could get it replaced - they would just send out a courier the next day to delivery my new handset and take away my old one, but I had to visit my local Orange shop first to check that it's not a case that all N95s have loose sliders.

Didn't sound too bad at the time, so off I went to Bromley, where they have two Orange shops, and luckily one of them had one left. The slider on the handset they had was definitely a lot better than mine, so the assistant there phoned up Orange for me to arrange the replacement.

I think the N95 uses the same assisted mechanism as the 6270. Mine had exactly the same feel, very solid and tight when open, but ever so slightly loose when closed.

Other than that, it was good as gold for me though, hopefully the N95 will be as durable as opposed to the rough 6111 and N80 mechanisms.

Both my N95's move up and down slightly (very slightly) while closed. Nothing to write home about.

They also press down slightly on the right. One is worse than the other. Again, I'm not letting this ruin a damn fine phone.

Now you mention it, my slider also rocks a few mills in either direction - but I take that to be part of the design. It's as if there's a lip that the slider has to run over, so there's a bit of give before the slider opens. Certainly not 'loose', in the sense that it opens without manual intervention.

I pretty much hate it if it restarts often. I'm deciding whether should I get it now or wait for the second batch (if there's one) since there the slider issue too. 

N95 is Nokia's first HSDPA phone (is it...?). The selling point is supposed to be the HSDPA feature. GPS is like bonus to it. So as the TV-out function.

To me GPS is still useless if the map that u have installed/downloaded is out-dated. Furthermore, u will likely to get disconnected/unlocked if u travel underneath a tunnel or even trees. And when it's rainy day, u know what happen.

So, my ready-made GPS are gas stations, police stations or even ordinary ppl. If u watch Amazing Race, u know what i mean.

even though i've never tested N95 myself, but from local & international reviews, i've concluded that this is actually Nokia's 'worst' product. They are trying hard to compete with Samsung and Moto in the HSDPA-enabled phones. looks like Sony is way behind in this group. But i'm pretty sure Sony will do their entensive R&D and testing before commercialised their product.

Overall, i will not buy this model due to it's unreasonable price vs. stability/performance issues. Looks like N95 is NOT WHAT THE COMPUTERS HAVE BECOME. It's supposed to be Dopod U1000 (i guess...)

To me, it is upon to the buyer himself or herself to get N95 or not. Tell me, how many ppl outhere are using fullest of their N95 such as wifi, GPS, camera etc....?? Maybe a handful only. Tell me also how many fone out there are 100 % less free problematic..none...???? also not all people are born there are same...100 %

I have get it working, but the problem is, when i select navigation, it shows that i have to purchase a license to get it working. Do u encounter the same problem ?

Could you all please follow the rules of this forum. Stick into one subject is N95 ??? Ok ?? A bit bored with ppl asking question unrelated to N95 here??? In this forum is ppl who are using N95 helping each one another not arguement about other N series or I Mobile? Try to look other forum about N95...all them talk about N95 not others...hope you all don't mind me raising this matter.
