i think the only down-side is the slider, and battery life
*
the slider so far so good for me. the battery is depends on usage.. for me, it is still acceptable

FOR NEW POTENTIAL BUYER, BEWARE!!

Please check the slider, when push the slider up, try to see whether the slider is loose a not (definition of loose here is, the slider is so loose that it can move left and right.. scary indeed!)

When i purchased mine, one of the unit that was supposed to be mine had this problem, luckily i tested everything if not cry.gif

i have also tried installing smart2go and got the "update error" mesage.

anyways.. i think Asia Maps aka Navfone is good enough already.

and my N95 does not detect my contact names from my phone book,

my fren sms me.. my n95 displays the phone number.. not the name.. wtf
*
if i'm not wrong, smart2go already installed on our phone. I cannot remember which forum i saw it but someone posted that.

Me too get that error

And i'm in love with this phone every minutes it goes .. :POISON: thumbup.gif

Depends on the maps used.

Malsingmaps pretty much covers the whole of Peninsula Malaysia, including smaller towns. I use GPS a lot due to the nature of my work which requires extensive travel to new places all the time. It saves me time from referring to a hard copy of the map.
*
yesterday i went to a very ULU place to eat seafood in JB. It was by the seaside so out of curiosity, i took out my phone to use the GPS to detect where i am and it managed to lock me on less than 1 minute. And i have been wrong about the place location all this while. ohmy.gif
