Hey.. just wondering, for those people who were accepted into IMU for Med.. how many A-Levels subjects did you do?

I'm doing 4 now but planning to drop one after AS, not sure if it's okay to do that or not - on the site they only mention that you need 3 science subjects and as far as I know most unis in UK also only need 3.

you only need 3 A2 level subjects for entry into all uk, msian ipts or oz unis.........

yes i took 3 only
though some of the taylorians here took 5

How is the nursing programme in IMU ? If i can't become a pharmacy i'll become a nurse.

phew SAQ was tough, was basically start to end write non stop. the OBA also harder compared to summative with the BS CM and stats in it. : (

yeah manage to finish it. but left a few blank la some definition from BS is really BS. I hope i do fine. everyone seriously found it damn hard.

Hi, I might be entering the August Intake.

But Before that, can I know briefly about the things which Semester 1 students study? like Books?

And any books which give a rough guide to the knowledge required for A Medic student? I mean, we're not like Professors of Anatomy who stuff a brainful of Anatomy book right?

I'm asking this because I really need to understand more about the academia.

umm..as for me, I have started reading this "human anatomy and physiology" by marieb or smth.. that was my sis's book (she was an ex IMU student) now in UNSW..yep..haha...and there is this book named "medical microbiology" published by ELSEVIER, and one book called "immunology"..are these books taught in semester 1???
