Hi,
I am an applicant from singapore interested in attending imu pms programme. I have some queries with regard to their admission process. Firstly, is there an exact cut off for the pms with singapore a level results? Will they look into your co curriculars together with your grades to decide on an offer for you? Secondly, how is the interview like? Is it more for formality, or they really want to sieve out people. Thirdly, are there many Singaporeans studying there? Lastly, I've read about the unpredictable matching system in imu. If I were to put all the choices as UK would I have a chance of getting a school not on my list of choices? I'm predicted AABB for my a levels. Can you apply with predicted grades? Thank you for the help, really appreciate it

There will be an exact cut off for the UK GCE, but I do not know if they have one for the Singapore Alvls. It is normally aab-aaa.
2. CoCo
I don't believe anyone can answer this unless he/she works in the admission department. But from what I feel, yes they do, because interviewers did ask me a lot about my extra coco activities.
3. Interview
I'd say it's both. It will be more towards the formality side for the local mbbs program, and more towards the sieving out candidates side for the pms programme. However this is only based on my perception. Again only someone from the admission team will know the exact mechanism behind all this.
4. Matching Process
Yes. The matching process is quite opaque. You rank the universities, and the universities rank you. Your ranking carries 5x more weightage. At the end you will have a score for each of the university. You will either get the highest or lowest score pms (can't remember sorry). If you choose Jefferson you will not be able to choose the other 4 PMSes, and if you fail to get into Jefferson they will but you into any pms with a slot. And of course most importantly you will need to pass all 5 semesters.
5. Forecast results?
Yes, I too applied with my forecast results.
