QUOTE(cckkpr @ Oct 31 2010, 03:19 PM) PMS student opting for Seremban? I was told by reception that this is not allowed and you have to get yr funding secured in case of running out of bullets! changing streams used to be an issue both ways.......as spaces are limited also in the seremban stream......the places have now increased from 50 to 100 per batch (ie 200/year) so it is easy to switch from pms to local.....however, the other direction will remain verboten as the pms places are very restricted, and may shrink, as uwa goes postgraduate, and nz quit from the partnership...... Added on October 31, 2010, 8:54 pm QUOTE(Cristiano-Ronaldo-7 @ Oct 29 2010, 07:59 PM) some other uni's got all top students: melbourne, nottingham, edinbrugh, glasgow. australian uni's got a good spectrum of students, esp those of group of 8 standard. from around average level mostly with one or two above average students. QUOTE(limeuu @ Oct 31 2010, 08:50 PM) changing streams used to be an issue both ways.......as spaces are limited also in the seremban stream...... well you will be surprised that Glasgow will be receiving students in the top 50 of the batch, and Nottingham in the TOP 30. I think glasgow is highly sought after, its ranked 2nd behind Edinburgh for the high achievers. Nottingham cause of the timing, they go off in Jan! and finish in 5 years. the places have now increased from 50 to 100 per batch (ie 200/year) so it is easy to switch from pms to local.....however, the other direction will remain verboten as the pms places are very restricted, and may shrink, as uwa goes postgraduate, and nz quit from the partnership...... Added on October 31, 2010, 8:54 pm since when has notts and glasgow become premier med schools allowing them to choose the top students only?.......melbourne and edinburgh i can understand..... As for the seremban case. bout 80-90 of my batch will be headed there. much more than previous batches! For C-Note. it could easily cost around 650-750K RM for phase 1 and 2 (UQ) . |

QUOTE(kha7577 @ Nov 4 2010, 06:44 PM) dont neglect your Com Medd. Seriously Free marks. espc those with calculations. some definitions from BS will come out as well.as for Anatomy, dont kill yourself. they'll ask you to label very simple and easy locations Parasitology is another must have. Biochem was real simple, probs one or two OBA's only. SAQ is pretty torturous. so becareful there, as it covers a wide scope. a very popular question was the description of the biliary tree, so do know that! I cant help much from here on out, cause i've got bigger fish to fry |
