bersyukurlah. i know tons of IT grads at 31 with half ur salary, and even more non-grads who earn ~2k a mth.

again, if u have no time for ppl, its hard to expect ppl to have time for u.

and pls take the t-sys job, its a good opportunity. probably work wif shell.

Nothing to shame if u have less salary...
Some have a lot of money but have more miserable life...
Happiness is better than greediness...

If u cannot earn the money in this life take it as fate...
If u earn better pay in this life take it as luck...

Young is not forever...Even for the old...
There is more than half ppl in this world in worst condition...
Even the environment is in bad shape...
We cannot live forever.. we still meet the earth one day...

Just be enough to live and happy...

i think u r posting in wrong thread, here is ppl who want to earn more. ur words are just negativity and lack of ambition (MLMers love to use it on those who refuse to join their collective).

but i agree wif u , we oni live once, and i'd love to cradle a laughing child, brush a rose against my cheek and breath in the fresh mountain air instead of wasting my life away at office and driving my expensive car... but we all chose this path.

hey there, we all saja kacau u there... cos u posted in the wrong section. Anyway, my serious reply is :

take the job at T-system, if u feel the environment is good and u like it, then work logn long and climb the ladder.
In case u dun like the place, u can move on from there (with basic salary rm7k, u can request more at ur new future job)

And seriously, do not join ISS (if u check around the forum u will see ISS bad name) however, the choice is still up to you smile.gif

U have 7 years in SAP, and i think u deserve more than just rm5k.

Want to earn 5K before you're 28... it's simple. Become an airline cabin crew member. You'd easily top 5K once you move to widebody and intercontinental flights.

As for the merchant bankers... ya, I guess some of them earn a lot very early. But we should note how hard they get worked, how much they travel and how much stress they undergo.

You can earn lots too as a trader (forex, shares, commodities etc). But you can't sleep (one mkt closes, another opens) and forever stressed by the fact that you can (and do) lose a lot of money real quick too.

So, if you are very young, have no exceptional experience or prodigal skills, trust me. Any employer paying you well over the average will extract their pound of flesh from you.

Oh, ya if anyone wants to earn S$370,000 per year when they are 32 years old, join the Singapore civil service. 370K is the starting salary for superscale and the average entry age into superscale is 32 years old. But the job interview starts when you're 4 or 5 years old when your parents try to get you into one of the elite primary schools in Singapore. And the interview doesn't stop until you go through a top Junior College (secondary school), then Ivy League or OxBridge with top honours (not those rubbish "high" CGPA stuff but top few in your graduating class etc) on a govt scholarship and 8 years of govt bond. You have to keep beating your peers every year, every exam, every appraisal to stay in the game... how's that for stress?

I think last year someone created a poll in the forum to find out how many people actually earn more than RM10k by 30 years old.

Not very reliable source of information collected from cyberworld whistling.gif

I would say remuneration is proportional to how much you're worth at the company. The tips to being paid better is probably how well you perform in your job and how good are you at spotting opportunities both in your own company as well as opening your choice to those who think you're worth more.

Cheers.

LYN crowd represent less than 1% of Malaysia's population. How can you use this to benchmark the living index of Malaysia?

I think what most people fail to understand is that no matter how much you earn, chances are you probably end up having the lifestyle which drain you of all your hard earn money. When we were still schooling, we probably end up with less than RM300 per month and yet we make it through. Humans are greedy.
