Worked on my Shield 2019. However, something seems off with the screen sizing as mine seems cropped and the subtitles disappear.

anyone know what needs to be changed in unifitv apk to make it compatible with nvidia shield?

u finally bought huh?

this is installed at my shield,you can use aptoide to install all these, or if u hv the apk, need sideload it.
- playtv@unifi apps, version TM.APHONE.7.8.19 com.huawei.phone.tm
- rotate screen orientation apps, version1.0 ( to rotate the screen to landscape, not portait)
- sideload launcher apps, version1.05 ( to launch the play tv easier with the icon)

so far i can watch without much issue.

Hi guys, planning to get nvidia shield to run with a VPN service like NordVPN to stream US Netflix. Anyone has experience and how is the speed like?

I used expressvpn before with my shield tv. With my 500mbps time fibre and the VPN connected to LA server, I could get maybe 20-40mbps. Ok for Netflix but slightly longer wait while it buffers (5-10 secs) before playing.

Anyone owns the latest Shield TV/Pro 2019?

Any thoughts on the device? My main purpose is for Netflix Atmos support & local blu-ray downloaded files (MKV/BDMV) around 30-80gb size.

Currently have Minix Neo U9-H & UBP X-700, both does not have Netflix Atmos support.
And playing local content via External HDD would occasionally gets the movie hang or even stutter.
Not sure if this is due to both device processor being unable to handle playback for big file size...

How are your experience with Netflix Atmos & Local playback content via external HDD? Any hang/stutter issues? BDMV any issue?

20-40mbps is seriously slow bro . I am using Maxis fibre 300mbps..For Express VPN location specifically for Netflix I use San Francisco or Seattle and set protocol to UDP and getting speed between 200mbps tp 300mbps depend on network traffic congestion, but of course ping will be over 200ms

Not the pro. Brought it physically back with me minus box when I flew back from my business trip. It came with the shield gamepad and remote.
