Anyone here tried GeforceNow on their shield? How was it?

Have u tried FortNite or PubG? Playable or just too laggy to even get a jiken dinner haha

But shield players will be at disadvantage tho given that you'll be fighting against PC players with keyboard and mouse. Still good for casual gaming.

I chose expedited shipping since the difference is only like 2usd. Replaced my order at 1130pm last night after realizing the payment sangkut. I had to call Maybank for them to unblock then only payment passed. Woke up this morning with the tracking update from DHL.

Aiyo that's pretty bad. Don't think there's any way to improve unless they add in Asia server. Even VPN won't help right?

What games that are playable to u with that level of latency?

Today cleared kastam at 4am and now shipping status according to tracking email. Should arrive today.

Mine initially supposed to get SIRIM but then DHL officer (her name was mimi) said she will help to appeal first then only let me know if still tak lepas. End up now good already. She said media streaming box usually no need but kastam acting kiasu at times.

Have u called DHL customer service? They will give u the contact no of the person handling your case. You apply for appeal if they say need permit. Hopefully all good

For tax usually Amazon will request upfront one. For my case it say didn't have any tax. SIRIM is a diff case tho. We need to pay on top and provide them with slip or receive for DHL to do clearance

Tested out FortNite yesterday. Getting 240ms and recommended setting is 720p due to the delay compensation. Gg Wei haha. Playable game but 720p burns my eyes and occasional graphical defects due to poor streaming from US server.

Read that there's a Asian Pasific server before but it was removed in March to be relocated elsewhere. Need to wait for it to be available again before we could enjoy it.

Overall, it was pretty fun yesterday playing FortNite for the first time. I'm used to PubG but playing a shooter using a controller is really new. Can't wait for the Asian Pasific server to come. Guess when that happens it should be playable smooth at 1080p. For casual gaming, Shield is really a beast.

Yeah. Even FortNite shows partial support for controller. Have u tried hooking up keyboard and mouse?

Hopefully when they launch out of beta, the price for GFN won't be skyhigh. And need AP server as well. Saw a lot of complaints on their forums bout it.

Amazon usually far more expensive to ship direct if they charge tax. Else, should be cheaper than 3rd party. For bulking, 3rd party better overall

I'm damn happy to play hearthstone with superb performance lol. It is as smooth as on my phone. Back then using tvbox on amlogic s912 chipset. Game goes laggy when there's more than 3 minions on board. Now I can handle up to 14 minions and still speedy.

Now feel itchy to get another one for living room TV

I used es file explorer's browser mode. Then use it to browse apkmirror to install chrome. Then sideload install any required apps

Still no Asian GFN server

This thread is very quiet. I assume there's nothing to complain or rant about haha. Me myself enjoying mine. And I'm very thankful I didn't get Chromecast since casting is already built in

The GeForce now games doesn't benefit us much since there's no Asian server's yet available

Can but the latency is around 200+ Ms as server is either US or EU so usually GeForce game streaming will drop to 720p 30fps to sustain playability.

This will be good when they add in Asia Pacific server. Used to have but they relocated. Till now still no new Asia Pacific server yet. Once available we can expect latency if between 30-100 max maybe
