Android app such as Iflix, njoi now, playtv@unifi work in this Nvidia Shield 2017? Currently using Minix Neo U1. Time to do some research.

I read that. That's why I wonder the same go to Njoi Now app (same parents). Since now the Astro Go no issue, should be OK.

I still doing research on either get Nvidia Shield TV or Nvidia Shield TV Pro since not much difference besides the size of the machine and Pro got additiona 500mb harddisk. My concern is use on Recommended USB Flash Drives (cheaper than built in pro version) for Nvidia Shield TV . Will the flash drive will effect the performance of this machine? Any user can comment on this since the Basic version only have 16gb.

For me, I will use more storage on games like Asphalt. Well the Nvidia Shield TV Pro (2017) has been discontinued as per their forum. Can't really buy from Nvidia in Amazon unless buy from other sellers. Need to think of alternative beside the built in harddisk like use attached HDD/SSD etc.

The pro version won't shipped to Malaysia. Nvidia stopped production due to certain issues.

I managed to chat with one of the buyer to confirm his purchase. And found out from the seller why one of the delivery only delivered player without controller. The seller admitted his mistake n reimbursed the buyer after. Anyway I will try my luck.

Anyone using USB Hub on Nvidia Shield TV 2017? Ugreen or Orico USD3.0 with 4 USB ports (without power) working well? Read in Nvidia forum that some may interrupt the bluetooth function. Appreciate someone can provide feedback.

I just received NSTV 2017 yesterday. Tried astro go app, it opened then closed. Tried Rotation Control app but doesn't work. Anyone out there what exact rotation screen app is working on astro app?

Yes... It's due to the default keyboard. I updated to another keyboard which someone shared here before.

For astro on go, I use Njol now since it got more chinese free program. Yes need to use with screen rotation app and disable Leanback keyboard with use LeanKey keyboard.
I still use Minix NEO A2 Lite but the back function not really proper work & hard to use mouse to doing speed pages down to bottom. Think it is due to nature of the android tv I believe. THerefore for playtv@unifi, have to scroll down using button one by one. Lol..... Also playtv@unifi (or most Gameloft games), it is connected thru LAN which Minix unable to perform. Just need to enable something like "weak wifi" (can't remember the exact) feature in app setting.
