There is very minimum app install in the Shield originally. You can side install whatever app you like.

I can't get tonton to work... managed to get Astro Go and Unifi to work though...

which astro go version u using ? im using latest, but it will always crash everytime i open it.

U need to sideload chrome (or any browser) then change the keyboard layout also.. use lean keyboard...

yes, im using all those. before this its running fine, but then it stop working.
after i update to the latest version of astro go apk, still same

if urs is the latest version too, then i might reset all and start from scratch again.

It died... after using for 1-2 years.

I am using an Ipego remote and paired with bluetooth. But somehow it doesn't 'wake' the shield up like its remote. Any idea?

Try this if u haven't, go to setting>security and disable 'Bluetooth LE Privacy'

If u have usb devices connected to shield then go to settings>system>usb mode and change it to 'compatibility'

Btw, ur shield remote stop working itself or due to physical damage?
If u have replaced the batteries and still no respond then maybe there's no contact between batteries and the tray.
