I think over here the replacement is done by APR instead of Apple staff. Wondering how is the quality of work. The accountability on damaging your phone is definitely much lesser if compare to Apple own staff.

I think should be ok coz it's just replacing battery not gain the resealing part is questionable..

I find ppl are too paranoid sometimes. Some to the extend of purposely look for fault in a piece of equipment when it is pretty negligible. Things like battery draining issue, display yellowish issue, dust in lens among others. Equipment tends to have some acceptable fault tolerance.

The world would be very peaceful if everybody think like u...

I would still go for aasp despite the 7 days wait (could also be a day), at least don't need worry about parts whether are there original or not, and to make it worse, whether the technicians are certified or not is another issue, proper measurements to open up and resealing back phone is another important parts.... so many important measurements here, I'd go for aasp even if its 14 days, plus....aasp program is still cheaper..

if u part is original ( non 3rd party component) pls go back apple .

My go-to Apple technician (not affiliated to any Apple resellers) told me that for the programme, the Apple hardware test will determine if the battery life is up to 20 per cent only will they decide to exchange the battery for you.

RM129 plus long queues is not worth it since my battery life is not as affected that badly. OEM batteries cost RM180 to RM191 and it can be done in half an hour to an hour's time.

I waited an hour to find that out at a reseller store. So save your time and headache and just get an OEM battery for less time and less money.

I thought if you’re paying for the battery then they’ll have to change it regardless of the diagnostic test results?

contrary to my findings, I called mac city service center they say just send in the phone, no diagnosis needed... but they warned me for the long queue...

lol. looks like a con case to me. if you willing to fork out rm129, they have to replace for you.
they is no oem battery on the market, just clone china made batteries. please be clear on what oem actually means before commenting.

anyone already received their phone from the battery replacement program?

did you get your exact phone, or a refurbished unit?

I should think you'll get back your phone, shouldn't be otherwise. You can always check the IMEI
