Hey Eiraku,
I have settled for the 1330..hahah, why? coz the specs are better than the hp's and I asked myself wht is more important to me and I concluded that I need a really slim and light laptop. So the XPS is it...They have me a full refund for my old XPS. I still love the design of the hp and probably the build quality of it if I had it...but its a trade-off I guess...Will post pics of my new baby once I get it...
Cheers
Roger that...

Enjoy your new M1330!
Over here, I've verified that
the 163.44 drivers are okay across a broad spectrum of programs and games (games run ok, no desktop corruption, gamma/colour settings seem to hold through a reboot), BUT, one issue crops up...
Subjectively, my animes look a tad worse with them in comparison to the 160.03 drivers (a bit more pixelated, colours look washed out)...

Downloading the new WHQL 163.69 drivers right now to see if there's any improvement...

Ah, the driver game... The only way to improve your notebook gaming graphics experience without the pain of overclocking... Look's like I'll be at this for quite a while...

Now, back to Bioshock before classes start... I need to get a few screenies too...

Added on September 19, 2007, 8:08 amBioshock on the M1210 screenies for your viewing pleasure... WARNING, I did say it was playable, I DID NOT say that it would look wonderful...

Oh sweet sweet Bioshock water...
Unpublished symptoms of drug abuse: GLOWING VEINS...
Yes, THAT is a Big Daddy... No, that shotgun is NOT going to help you much...But seriously, this game is a heck of a lot more optimized for the PC compared to, say, Rainbow Six Vegas (which uses the same Unreal Warfare 3 engine, and plays like crap even on low everything)... If only it didn't crash so much on so many systems...

Gives me some hope that this lappy could even play Fallout 3... I'd be darned happy if it could go smooth (say, 15-20FPS) on low everything, 640x480...
