redo some iPhone X charging with usb tester
USB-PD charger with Apple USB-C to Lightning cable, phone batt @50%, drawing current ~18W
USB 5V/2.4A (non QC, just normal) with Apple USB Lightning cable, phone batt @50%, drawing current ~12W
the above current draws by iPhone X, with USB-PD indicate almost 30% faster...
for some reason, many argue that not worth the investment for USB-PD, my answer would be depends, because after 70-80%, both charger above drawing almost same Watt, it just have significant differences from 0% to 60-70% in terms of time spent to charge
but facts show that from 0-100% using USB-PD vs 5V/2.4A, just a small different around 15-20mins... in real world, i do believe not many peoples will charge to 100% everyday, so charging in between 20-80% more frequent, using USB-PD will save more significant time

p/s: the myth of charging phone, is how much Watt (current) the phone will draws, it is not the charger that keep on pushing current to the phone, it is the phone itself decide how much current to draw

so if your adapter can provide the current your device can draws, your device will draws the current it needs
