iPhone X dimensions = 143.6 x 70.9 x 7.7 mm

Note 5 dimensions = 153.2 x 76.1 x 7.6 mm (taller and wider but thinner than ip-x)

iPhone 8+ dimensions = 158.4 x 78.1 x 7.5 mm (taller and wider but thinner than ip-x and note5)

Have you tried to WhatsApp the seller on that thread?

I got my lens protector from him. it comes with an opening for the microphone hole.

Ha ha.. the ip-x even does feel more solid and heavy (174g) compared to my wife's s8+ (173g).

I try to stick with google services as much as possible as they are also available on ios.

Can't help it, though. I use youtube, search, photos, email, calendar which are all on google. Google likely knows me better than I know myself LOL. RM84.99 per year for 100GB of google drive fits my needs to a tee.

Apple's icloud doesn't really suit me - 50GB (RM3.90 per mth) is too little storage, and 200GB (RM11.90 per mth) is too expensive. Not to mention that apple's cloud services feel really slow compared to google's.

I've been using phones with AMOLED screens for more 4 years before the ip-x. I don't usually pixel peep but my 2 year old note 5's display still looks alright to my eyes and I've utilised the hell out of the that phone.

Not sure what the fuss is about the ip-x's OLED display - should be similar since made by Samsung, no?

No it just means all the Sony sensors can take photos and videos. Further improvements and tweaks possible in the respective ISPs.

What I mean is I worry less about burn in on OLED than actually dropping my phone and cracking the display.

Something like you charge for 2 hours and the batt remains at 50%. Then you reboot the phone and it now shows 100%?

Nope, didn’t face this.

Quite a good price there since it supports both QC3 and PD2, according to specs.

I saw this model going for RM89 on Shopee.

I have the plug adapter for cn-uk so not an issue.

Small price to pay for paying less.

Loving the rhinoshield mod case with my ipx, plus backplate. Got it for usd39 but I do miss my x-Doria defense lux sometimes.

The rhino makes my phone ever so slightly wider which strains my fingers a bit. Rhino is nicer feeling in the hand compared to the x-Doria which had some sharp edges though.

The buttons are not so tactile on the rhinoshield mod for me. They kinda shake a bit and are harder to press, probably because I have a TG back protector.

The bumper sides are not slippery at all.

Ha ha same here. Small gap at the bottom near the lightning cable.

Anyway I read thru the item details. Not supporting ip8/x. Next model coming soon, reportedly.

The 2 pin plug is compatible with our Malaysian socket i believe.

Wonder if anyone would be interested in a 2 week old rhinoshield mod with faux carbon fibre backplate for half price..

I'm back with my x-doria defence lux case. The extra width with the rhinoshield mod was getting a bit too irritating for my hand.
