I agree, switched to iPhone X for 3 days and I do miss Google's integration. Also, iOS is so much more restrictive. It was fine on my iPad as I do not need that much control but for my daily driver it's does not really fit my needs. On the other hand, the design, screen, battery life is amazing. Camera too. Absurdly good photos.

*If Pixel 2 XL is sold officially is MY with official warranty provided, I will definitely jump ship. Cannot stand to purchase Sammie as flagship phones = curved screens which I hate.

Anyone tried using Nillkin tempered glass screen protector? I'm using the Hoda white one and got small chip already at the edge. Phone kept in pocket without keys/coins etc. Less than a week too. Hoda RM69 but feels great but Nillkin is RM30. I've used it before on my old S6. Anyone using Nillkin for the X? Any thoughts?

The chip of my Hoda SP is as seen is the pictures below. Don't even know how it happened. The coating on the Hoda is really good but durability like so-so for my case.

This is not the full covered one right?
*
Nope. I got this cause I thought the full one would be less durable

Just cracked the glassy screen protector on the iPhone X, considering I bought it a week ago... I must be one of the most careless users around, lol! laugh.gif
*
I chipped my Hoda SP in 3 days also. We are on the same boat flex.gif Too strong.

No la smaller coverage won’t cover the curve edge, more durable than the full one..3D ones knock abit whole thing crack and shatter...sweat.gif

I used the RM69 one and chipped within 3 days. So now trying the Hoda 2nd gen version from bro INGfusion. So nice of him to let go his spares for an awesome price. Should be getting it this Friday. Can't wait to test it out!

I've got no issues with my local iPhone X GPS. Everything is perfect. Location is accurate using Waze, Google Maps or even Pokemon Go.

Haha I must admit I am still playing it. Cannot get a mew two yet bangwall.gif But to relate back to this, GPS is damn accurate even indoors in shopping malls. One Utama not so good but MV/Gardens perfect.

That's very interesting claim you have, you confirm you are A1901 modem? Does Intel modem has different revision that solve the GPS issue? Talking through 4 intel modem my wife and I own so far, I am pretty sure it is not accurate, it is horrible actually. I have spent an hour with Apple support, not helping at all, will be interested to know how you don't see that. Google map is far the worst working with Intel Modem.

Probably we are testing at different area as well, in Penang, most area we can tell is out of synced, I experience with 7+ in KL on both our phones, total lost!
*
That's not a claim that I'm making. It's a fact. I've got no such issues at all with GPS. Everything is working perfectly fine as expected of a GPS. Probably you got a lemon. I believe I would know better whether mine is accurate or not?

I've got issues with third party keyboard still. Gboard in particular. WhatsApp is the main app I face the problem with.

For Apple Original Case, yes, Silicon case is quite good. I'm using Spigen Ultra Hybrid Crystal Case and happy with it. Transparent and can see the beauty of iPX.
*
Same! I love the Spigen Ultra Hybrid. The matte finish is grippy and looks good on my Space Grey unit.

Well to be honest, 90% of Americans use iPhones. Only those tech youtubers use high end Android lol. Rates are growing in our country but lots of people still use Android here. So we're accustomed to Whatsapp instead coz it's easier to reach out. Maybe use iMessage to 1-2 people, gf etc, but in general (and in gaming tone) "Whatsepppp number onee"...
*
To be honest you are pretty idiotic when quoting fake facts. Please do not mislead people with your "90% of Americans use iPhones" crap. It's only 35%.

New owner here: Space Gray (256 GB) from MAXIS since yesterday. Because I ported out to DiGi before, tenure less than 1 year old so they needed me to sign up for auto-billing. Also changed from RM 98 plan to the minimum RM 128 plan.

Should’ve done more research for the casing + tempered glass protector. Got the SPIGEN Neo Hybrid but think the SP is too thick causing bubbles ... when I snap the phone into the case ...
*
Congrats on your new toy! I'm using Hoda gen 2 full SP and it's amazing. No problems so far. Currently using the Spigen Ultra Hybrid and it's perfect for my needs. Don't have the bubbles issue with my combo.

SPIGEN cases are usually not friendly with those full cover 3D type screen protectors. Have to either get those full cover which are compatible with cases or those non full cover type screen protectors
*
No such issue with the Spigen Ultra Hybird. It's perfect for me

We will see smile.gif The latest iOS seems pretty good. Many of them get 0%-1% battery drainage overnight.

Mine 0% drain at night - granted I only sleep 6 hours plus daily. My old S6 will drop like 8% d. iPx battery life I like.
