my wifi connection has always been weaker compared to i6 both of which are placed at the same area.

i am planning to send it in for a check but i worry the technician isnt trained enough to handle ix at the moment. dilemma.

Finally got Cosmos Blue leather case. I cannot find it on reseller, need to order from Apple

Really nice color and I love the leather texture. But it is tight. I feel like I will scratch/damage the phone when trying to remove the case
*
Great, how is the durability of the case? Got myself a saddle brown apple leather case and it scratches was too easily, even a slight gentle touch with my nails it also leave permanent marks shakehead.gif

Durability is par the course for leather case. Got some small scratches there and there but not obvious. The case still looks good for now. Dunno how it will age

How is your case's fitting? Is it very tight and hard to remove? I used one for my 6 but it was very easy to put on and remove
*
Quite easy to put on and remove, just that the side button abit tough to click, it is fine for volume buttons thou...

Oh ya, since u used from 6, hows the smell of ur current iX leather case? Mine still got very strong leather smell despite used for weeks...dont like the smell so much it is too strong puke.gif

Used silicon on 7+ before and the durability is definitely better...just that it is rubberized case very hard to take phone off from pocket and dont have any odor biggrin.gif

Hey guys I have been using the ultra hybrid since D1 of purchase, but getting bored, how is the rhino shield with the clear back? Does the clear back scratch easily? Probably already discussed here but too many pages to scroll. Thanks.
*
Some user of rhinoshield few page back saying that there is a gap between the case and phone for the btm part of the case, quite a turn off for me edi hmm.gif

Refurbished by Apple itself is way better than used set.

Dont mistaken with illegally refurbished by 3rd party or ahbeng shop.
*
This is what I thought. I rmb I read an article saying that QC for Apple refurbished set is even better than new set sweat.gif

I doubt it is going to help, it is the GPS hardware inside that's not accurate, US customers already confirm return its iPhone X Intel chip and bought a Qualcomm chip improve significantly. I had both my iPhone X and iPad Pro on Maxis sim card, iPad Pro on Qualcomm is so much stable and accurate. I felt of selling my X and get a new one from US or HK.
*
Not sure if its due to Intel chip too, my GPS tends to be damn inaccurate, very hassle when using waze at kampung area with many junctions, the phone like detected me off 100m like that! Made me missed many junctions ranting.gif

I am 100% sure it is due to the GPS chip, suffered whole year with 7+, my previous iPhones never suffer such problem and can't believe 2nd gen of Intel GPS still sucks!

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8189221
*
After go thru the link now i know im not the only one having such not accurate gps! This is so terrible for a 5899 priced phone confused.gif
My 2nd phone which always use for navigation (redmi note 4 using qualcomm snapdragon 625, not sure using what gps chip) is far more accurate than this X!
RM800 phone vs RM5899 sweat.gif
Guess Apple dont want us to use iX for navigation to prevent OLED burn sweat.gif rclxub.gif

So far so good for me though, no issues with Waze or Google Maps when I need directional guidance... Something to do with certain slightly defective Intel chips or an issue with the GPS itself? sad.gif
*
Not sure...I also occasionally use this iX at navigator only...put it under sunlight and use for navigation abit "heartache" tongue.gif

Some rich people with higher monthly commitment on plan (MOP188) might sign up for telco plan too smile.gif Cheaper phone and same monthly commitment.
*
Got my iX 256gb from celcom for RM4600 ish for monthly plan 98...sounds reasonable for me for 2 years contract on the discount biggrin.gif
Considering next year apple might do price adjustment for iX...getting from telco not so heartache sweat.gif

Considering selling off my 7+ 128gb for 2.8k...only top up around 2k for iX brows.gif
