why you need high limit? too high limit comes with a risk too. better to spent within your means and also the be cautions on risk of getting fraud cases on your credit line

I don't know how high limit you are looking at. These days most banks offer me at least RM 30k but I don't need so much so will call in to reduce.

CIMB is one of the generous banks when it comes to credit limit. Nevertheless, after I cancelled my CIMB CR, I asked for reduction until 2k now.

Yes but not for CIMB. I reduced limit for CIMB and AmBank because no 0% BT.

i have statement balance @ RM 2,589.16, due 16 May, then 18 May only i pay the balance.

on the same day bank charged me late charges RM 25
then end of the statement cycle bank charge me 'finance charge' RM56

late charges RM 25 is not interest ? anyone can show me how to calculate ?

Late payment fee/charge is not interest
Finance charge is the interest.

late charge is the admin fee because u didn't pay on time.

finance charge is the interest rate for the outstanding amount.

try calling the bank to waive the charges. at least try.

late payment is late payment, means you paid late and they charge you a penalty
interest is called finance charges. it is based on your outstanding x 18% (unless you get lower interest rate) / 365 * number of days interest being charged

how to apply cimb lazada prepaid card? I can't find where to apply after I log in to cimb click. Only saw other cimb credit cards, but no cimb-lazada prepaid card.
