Received RM15 x 4 for all my supplementary cards yesterday marked as Retention 2017. This is the 2nd RM15 (for spending RM200).

Mine posted 2nd rm15 yesterday also. Lead time 32 days after spend rm200. Maybe after call cimb and tell they gave false info. Said 60-90 days. Lol

I just applied cimb lazada prepaid card via cimb clicks. Immediately they gave me my card number , expiry date, and also the Cvv number. Can I use it straight ? Or I need to wait for the physical card to arrive first. And do I need to set PIN for this card?

Just to inform on CIMB Lazada Prepaid, the cashback (15% max RM25) is based on transaction date not posting date. I got cashback from a 31st Jan transaction which was posted Feb 2nd.

Has anyone of you been charged a fee while paying through Paypal for a Lazada purchase?

Recently I've been charged 1% fee for my two transactions on Lazada through Paypal with CIMB cards, I thought Lazada made a mistake and called their CS to enquire about this, and the CS was dumb enough to tell me Lazada is SG based so I was charged SGD and foreign exchange.

After googling a bit, I found this thread on Lowyat, it seems like I've been charged what is called a cross border transaction fee... Just when I thought it was safer to pay through Paypal I ended up paying for this fee.

P/S: NEVER pay through Paypal with CIMB card

Today I receive monthly lazada cash rebate at my cimb lazada prepaid card. Lazada top up Kuala Lumpur is entitled 1 percent rebate. That mean  it will entitled  15 percent rebate next month. My lazada topup Kuala Lumpur is at 10 April 2018

why you need high limit? too high limit comes with a risk too. better to spent within your means and also the be cautions on risk of getting fraud cases on your credit line

I don't know how high limit you are looking at. These days most banks offer me at least RM 30k but I don't need so much so will call in to reduce.

CIMB is one of the generous banks when it comes to credit limit. Nevertheless, after I cancelled my CIMB CR, I asked for reduction until 2k now.

I was not allowed to "apply" for Lazada card using existing CIMBClicks ID.
So I created another CIMB Clicks ID for Lazada Prepaid Mastercard.

First ID for Credit cards only.
New ID for Lazada Prepaid only.
No CASA.

purposely to discourage use of kiosks, reduces maintenance or deployment of kiosks, also part of bnm payment reform by doing transaction online.

not good for senior citizen but still manageable by their young ones nonetheless.

CiMB CC is good at Lazada, Shopee, fine dining, RM1 deals,  Giant - Cold Storage - Guardian promo.

Giant - Now HSBC and UOB give special rebate.
CIMB CC - quite rare recently, but on some weekends in the past.

Was offered RM10 too. She told me my renewal date is in Dec, so she ask me to keep the card and spend min 200. After that, if I still want to remove it, she said its up to me. 😂😂
