contradicting statement from you le.

if paid in full, means the whole statement amount lor. since you already excluded the cb, then you paid less. it's a known issue with CIMB that any cb awarded is not considered as actual payment.

I thought the CB will auto-compensate the balance hence I paid balance - CB thinking it will be perfect later for me to cancel the card rclxub.gif

i did this "method" only when decided to cancel the card immediately after gotten final cb. hence, final payment - final cb. after card gotten canceled, no way it will get finance charge.

Just terminate it because your CCRIS will show your approved cards.

Is there any way we could track the cash rebate are derived from which transactions in our monthly statement? There seems to be none in the current statement...

Not sure. Always make it as a habit to cancel cards which are not in use.
Even cancelled cards may still be in CCRIS, I kena before for RHB.

Need to spend at guardian.
Pretty useless.

With Lajada sales, easily get 20% off at Guardian/Watson

It's OK. I don't have Visa from CIMB.
Was tricked by Guardian cashier.
I asked as they put as poster on the cashier table.

Usually no special offers/discounts on Mon-Fri !
and maybe too late to get the special rebate now due to First-Come-First-Served.

Dear all

Does anyone know how soon we can request for credit limit increase for CIMB credit cards?

I've heard 6 months and I've heard 1 year. So not sure which. Thanks.

I'm thinking to apply CIMB VS since it doesn't have annual fee.. of course VS doesn't have much benefit as well.. but at least VS sometimes has better discount/promotion rate at airport duty free or shopping complexes compared to Platinum cards.

Anyone came across this?
