QUOTE(attw @ Nov 17 2017, 03:14 PM) Ya, maybe it’s time to do what people do with iPhones. Keep them for 4 years minimum till iOS updates are no longer available for that model, ha ha. u shouldn't upgrade every year and i dun see the point especially for 6s model. And you’re right. Once Android figures out the idle battery drain, I may not turn back. good thing for apple is actually u dun have to upgrade every year, but once u use android, after 3 months u feel urself outdated TBH, s7 still a very gd phone, but when u taking s8, u won't want s7. but this is different for iphone, u use 6s, and u still feel ok after 3 years |

QUOTE(yupio @ Nov 17 2017, 03:35 PM) Haha can the 7+ and 8+ really make profit? I have put my 7 128 and 7 + 256 up on sale...been reducing my price and yet no taker. My friend paid RM4200(after coupon and discount voucher) at Lazada, imported US set with qualcomm chip for 8+ 256GB, that could be one of the reason. Also, I am seeing people selling the 8+ 256 at RM4k and no taker...thought the RRP was 4899 or something. How much 7+ 256GB u were selling btw? I sold both my 7+ 128GB in few hours. |

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Nov 17 2017, 03:44 PM) Its getting harder to dispose used Iphones because of the price. Rm3k for a out of warranty Iphone 7+ would be a bit high no? Yes I understand that we bought the phones at very high prices new. But the fact is, would you buy a used phone at around Rm3k yourself? QUOTE(yvonnesoo @ Nov 17 2017, 03:56 PM) Just before I jumped the gun on the 8 Plus I was looking to dispose my Note 8 and get a used 7 Plus, so I offered in Garage Sale to buy a 32GB one for 2.5k or a 128GB one for 2.8k with at least a month’s warranty, coz that was the price I surveyed in Mudah. But apparently that’s considered low-balling over here, ha ha. Anyways yeah, I wouldn’t buy a used phone at 3k, even though I successfully sold two phones at that price |

guys, i order IPX 64GB with Plan 138 from digi, entitle discount of RM1654 as stated in Digi website
but the invoice show device price: RM3495 + RM209.7 (GST) = RM3704.70 so RM3704.70 + RM1654 (discount from digi) = RM5358.70 so digi is actually selling higher then Apple RRP which is RM5149.00? for those made order from Digi, mind to share how Digi actually proceed the charges? That’s why you need to calculate for yourself first on the total cost of ownership before you sign with them.but the invoice show device price: RM3495 + RM209.7 (GST) = RM3704.70 so RM3704.70 + RM1654 (discount from digi) = RM5358.70 so digi is actually selling higher then Apple RRP which is RM5149.00? for those made order from Digi, mind to share how Digi actually proceed the charges? |

RRP RM5149 digi device is RM3495 and discount RM1654 = RM5149 so that means in fact the discount is only RM1,444.30 there is always a clause stating *price exclusive of GST.. in a very tiny font but discount of xxxx bold it in red n very clear..
