Hi, wanna ask Ambank have any credit card new user free gift promotion recently?
I tried to check on their website, quite confused for me in their promotion

I applied for the spend and get bonus points promotion.
But unfortunately before they approved my card, they devalued the points.

That aside, I did get a very good customer service who helped get my card done before I leave for overseas.

may i know ambank true visa the 3%cashback how does it work.
lets say top up 1k to bigpay. I Pay 970 on the month (cashback will be in the month itself), or still need to pay 1k for that month, then the 30 will be in next month ?

if your cb came in within 20 days after your statement date, then you just pay RM970, else RM1000 and next month onwards RM970.

I see. I has been using citi for sometime. the cashback come after statement date. but within 20 days. I still pay according to statement amount. Never know can pay include the credit given within the 20 days.

I’m not sure how ambank works. But most of the bank, if you pay less than the amount stated in bank statement, for sure they will charge you late payment and finance charges. So better don’t try that way.

all the bank cc i have i did it that way, the cb is consider a "credit" and bank has no right to charge u finance charges if you pay the full statement minus the cb

this is the better way to pay the statement. less trouble, easier to memorize/record.

each month cb is small-ish. am sure you can wait for it to reflect in next statement.

each bank operates differently. 1 simple repayment policy (yours) to manage all the banks (instead of diff bank, diff handling)

For the third month, no eStatement to my email... first round was they typed my email wrongly... then last month corrected it... then I checked today instead of Outlook, it was Outlock

I tried to apply the True Visa card via Ambank web itself.
Until today i didnt receive any email yet, only auto generated email.
Is it really have to send the form manually to the branch ?

I havent receive any email with a Ambank representative to follow up
Should i just download the form itself and email to them?
It' my first time to apply with this bank... maybe my past experience with other competitor bank response were too efficient
this bank seems abit slow

how is your online application? approved already?

Update: My card is approved. CS said my card will be ready for collection by next Thu.

Took 9 working days to get approved.

mine True Visa obtained by just calling the CS, previously hold Visa Infinite, cancelled once i got the True Visa
