Think i saw a response yesterday that it took around 1 month.

Seems like they couldn't care less. I applied from their website before and they asked me to fill up form and send back to them. I didn't. This time I try am online, but looks like will end up like you.

They called yesterday but phone wasn't with me. They called again today asking for more supporting docs (like bank statement to match against pay slip, and EPF). Seems like nowadays everyone wants people's EPF.

True card won't earn treat point only cash back right?

Ok, I have just called Ambank CS, she told me that the SST will only be charged 3 days after the card is activated, but to safe I still requested for cancellation of this Bonuslink card.
She checked the system and found out that the agent actually applied for THREE cards under my application, meaning that there would be one more card on its way to me!
I am shocked beyond words with what dirty tricks these agents could do to exploit this system. I better be extra careful in the future.

The 3rd card he applied for is CARz card, which I might activate and let my brother use for his petrol.

So from what I understand, as long as we have RM5.01 balance in the statement every month, we can still earn the 5% rebate?
Which means interest on the RM5.01 could only be as high as RM0.075, but we can still be entitled for the 5%?
So this is how we exploit the "partial payment" loophole is it?
As suggested by others, I have requested the CS to cancel the Bonuslink card, but she had to manually activate and block the card immediately in order to terminate the card (as it is still new).
So in that case, I don't know if the agent will still receive his commission or not leh.

What is so good about this True Visa ?
I read through its T&Cfound that there are many exclusions for bill payment. Basically ALL UTILITIES / TELCO are not entitled for cashback. Even for online shopping its 3% cashback is so-so only, compared with Public Quantum Mastercard 5% (Cap RM30)

mine approved loh. you can try call 03-21788888 > choose language > 5 for credit card > 1 for application status or eCCRIS. it's not on AM Online yet.

you guys lucky la. they even want my bank statement in addition to what they wanted from you. they wanted "everything" because I never take loan from them, don't know my track record.

Yeah woh. Kota damansara not far from KL. Give another day or two. Maybe all embossed same time. Loss in delivery also their problem ls, since it's branch to branch.

So I submitted my application form to the Shah Alam branch of Ambank applying for the true card. Today I called to check on the card delivery status, cuz im so excited to know that it got approved since on Monday.
Well, instead I find out I’m getting 2 cards that I did not apply and not even 1 of them is the True card.
I filled up the forms myself and sent it to the branch myself!
....
Customer service on the phone was nice enough to change the request back to what it’s supposed to be.

But perhaps not the safest route despite filling up the forms myself, and sending it to the Shah Alam branch myself.

I will be lodging a complain against that branch.

I don’t. I printed only 1 copy and submitted everything in 1 copy. My application for True only became visa signature and carz card.
Sigh...such a bummer. Wish I had applied by just leaving my info on the website itself.

SHould have circled the TRUE card option rather than the pathetic tick on the box, with a huge statement ‘I ONLY WANT THIS CARD!!!’
