After enable all application, if go back need enable all application again.
Why not permanent enable ?.

notice there is some bug in note 8 where after using for an amount of time, the apps start getting laggy when press back button,need to wait for few seconds to respond
it will become normal once restart the phone

Anyone here activated the device security from McAfee? Is it ok to do that ? Will it slow down or cause lag to phone later if not now? Since note 8 still pretty new but I just worried it will cause lag later...

note 8 using mcafeee? not using knox any more?

the device security is powered by mcafee inside device maintenance. knox is knox... well samsung love to duplicate all things in their phone...

I didn't enabale my mcafee but I do frequent backups 2 times weekly to ensure data integrity.

Not sure about this but I have activated weekly restart of my phone.

i read that mcafee is considered a bloatware installed in the N8
its not totally free....after 60 days trial. they will prompt for option to pay to protek your phone?

It is definately bloatware for sure hence why I never used it in the first place. Will slow the phone down and why bother paying for it once the trial period end.

No, I just didn't active the mcafee pre-installed by samsung. I am running my phone without any antivirus or malware protection.

All anti virus are considered bloateware as they keep running at the background. If you put it this way. Well, they do hope that you will continue to subscribe later on.

If it's free and without subscription then I guess it's alright to have on the phone.
Can it be uninstalled or it's integrated permanently in the phone manager application???

I didn’t face lags but would face abnormal battery drain even in max power saving mode sometimes. But like you said, a restart magically solved the issue.

might be some bug in the OS but curious why samsung didnt release an update to fix those issues
but i didnt face any battery abnormal issue
as i know there are a security patch just released but not sure will fix this issue or not

Before I switch to note 8 , my previous phone also have this issue , most likely app issue

Depend on which model.
